Synopsis
There comes a point in a toddler’s life when going in one’s diaper is only one possible option, and the question must be raised: Should I go in my potty? With pitch-perfect humor and pacing, Leslie Patricelli follows the inner dialogue (sure to have little ones shouting responses) and hilarious actions of everyone’s favorite Baby, winding up with an over-the-top look of surprise and delight that will have both parents and offspring laughing out loud. “I did it!”

Potty by Leslie Patricelli is a cute, fun way to introduce toddlers to potty training. It follows one toddler’s exploration of determining how to go potty by exploring how others go. Super cute illustrations and easy words make this a go to book when my son is on the potty.

This book is mainly told in pictures with very few words, making it a perfect book to keep my son occupied while he sits on the potty. We can talk about the pictures and what it feels like when you “need to go.” Also I love the fact that the toddler featured in the book explores for his own answer by looking at what the dog and cat do when they need to go.

Overall, if you are struggling with potty training, getting ready to start, or looking for a cute book for your little one, I highly recommend this one! My little one loves it and one day soon I hope to be able to do the below picture 🙂
