Top Ten Tuesday #16 – What About…?

Top Ten Tuesday MemeTop Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because they are particularly fond of lists at The Broke and the Bookish. They’d love to share their lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

It’s Tuesday which means another list 😀 This week’s topic is “Top Ten Characters You Wish Would Get Their OWN Book (minor or just maybe a semi main character you wish a book was from their POV).” I could literally go on for days about characters I want to learn more about! So this post for me is really fun. I like to learn a lot about characters, and usually I wind up liking the characters you hear little about it. So without further ado, the following are the characters I’d like to have their own book, as always in no particular order. Titles either link to Goodreads or my reviews 😉

Top Ten Characters That Need Their OWN Book

Peeta Mellark from The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins – First character that came to my mind with this week’s topic was Peeta. In fact, I’d love to have the whole trilogy from his point of view. I ♥︎ him! Though we get plenty of him in the trilogy, I’d love to know more about him and see the events from his side.

Severus Snape from Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling – I secretly loved Snape from the beginning. I knew there was more to his story, I just didn’t know what. Then the big reveal came in The Deathly Hallows and I’m not ashamed to admit that I cried and fell head over heels for this tortured character. I’d love a book written entirely about Snape, his childhood, his times at Hogwarts and of course his love for his best friend Lily.

Roar from Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi – So technically Roar has a book, but it’s not enough!!! It’s a bridge story that basically tells his love for Liv and where she disappears too. I want a book solely about Roar, maybe based after the Still Blue so we know he is ok….pretty please 😉

Ryland from the Imdalind Series by Rebecca Ethington – I love this series! And Ryland….well Ry makes a really good, scary, ex-best-friend-turned-killer. I would love a short story or book devoted to him and all the struggles he’s faced because of his father. In fact, I’m pretty sure it would hit number one with fans of this series!

Kei from the Broken Ones series by Jen Wylie – Kei is Aro’s best friend and a Fae. He relies on her, he is loyal to her, and he loves her. But there is a lot that Aro doesn’t know about him I believe. And I want to know what 😀

Jordan from the Dark Angel series by Hanna Peach – In the last two books of this series, the author has given a taste from Jordan’s POV and I love him! In fact, I totally adore him. He’s got this bad boy turned good vibe going and it’s just so cute. I want to know more about his past and I’d love to hear his thoughts on the end of the last book!

Ranger from the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich – :::sigh::: Ranger 😀 I love this character! He is one of two love interests for Stephanie and if I had my choice I would choose him. He’s got a mysterious past, but he obviously loves Stephanie though he claims not to be the marrying kind. I think he’ll eventually change his mind. But I’d really like a book from his point of view to see a bit of his past and what he is thinking.

Roc from the Dwellers Saga by David Estes – I love Roc! He is Tristan’s best friend and the comedic relief. He’s witty and brave. A book from his POV would be amazing.

Raffe from Penryn & the End of Days by Susan Ee – So I’m a little afraid of Raffe the archangel and extremely intrigued. I want to know more about him, his past, and his obvious love for Penryn.

Xander from Matched by Ally Condie – So Xander gets a little bit of the story told from his point of view in the last book of this series, but with all the secrets he’s been keeping, I’d like to know more about him. I felt sorry for him, until I found out his secrets. Then I was just curious and still am even though it’s been a few years since I read it.

Haddie from Driven by K. Bromberg – One of my favorite New Adult reads, you know the kind that has more about the characters than it does sex. Haddie is the best friend of the main character in the book. She’s spunky, out spoken, and in desperate need of a steady in my humble opinion. Lucky for me the author agreed and Haddie’s story comes out in February 2015 😀 Can’t wait!!

Your Turn!

Enough about the characters I want to hear about. Which characters do you want to have their own story? Any from my list you want to hear more from?
