Eep!! I’m so excited to join Berls @ Fantasy is more fun and Michelle @ Because Reading in the Winter 2014-2015 Clean Out Your E-Reads Challenge. This challenge starts tomorrow (Dec. 20th) and runs through March 6th. For more info or if you’d like to sign up (closes Jan. 26th), go here or click the above image. Psst….if it asks “Who referred you?” give em my name so I can be entered to win the $5 Amazon GC 😀
Goals
I have a confession, one that I state every week here on the blog….I have a “one-click” addiction. That’s right, if a book is free or under $3 dollars I click the one-click button. As a result I currently have 112 ebooks on my Kindle in the “to-read” category 😳 This “to-read” category does not include my ARCs or other books I’ve purchased, just my “one-clicks.”
I would love to say that my goal for this challenge is to read all 112 books, but that just ain’t gonna happen!!! So I thought I’d set my goal at a reasonable 20 books. That’s roughly two books a week, one ARC and one “one-click.” Also I’d like to participate in at least one mini-challenge and one read-a-thon.
I’m so excited about this! I’ve been blogging for close to a year now and this will be my first challenge. I’m looking forward to the interaction with other bloggers/readers and of course sharing my progress with all of you 😀
Possible Reading Choices
So as I said I have 112 books to choose from and I tend to be a mood reader so I’m not going to specify exactly what books I’ll read when. But here are a few books I know I’ll be reading 😀
My Progress
As I read and review books for this challenge, they will (hopefully) automatically populate here.
- Marked by Sarah Fine
- The Young Elites by Marie Lu
- Ice Country by David Estes
- Waking Up Married by Mira Lyn Kelly
- The Magician's Lie by Greer Macallister
- Fast Forward by Juliet Madison
- Broken Skies by Theresa Kay
- Persuaded by Misty Dawn Pulsipher
- Cinder by Marissa Meyer
- Ever Darkening by Janeal Falor
- Splintered by A.G. Howard
- Dear Mr. Knightley by Katherine Reay
- The Last Orphans by N.W. Harris
- City in Embers by Stacey Marie Brown
- The Vanishing Girl by Laura Thalassa
- Enclave by Ann Aguirre
- Outlander by Diana Gabaldon
- Scarlet by Marissa Meyer
- Seeker by Arwen Elys Dayton
- Snow Like Ashes by Sara Raasch
Good luck with this challenge! It seems like fun. I’m still figuring out what challenges I’m going to participate in this next year. I think I am limiting myself to five. That seems the safest. 🙂
