Happy Sunday everyone! I can’t tell you how relieved I am to a) have power and b) not be snowed in. This week saw two more rounds of snow for us. The first leaving only a measly 3 inches but the second left 8 and there was no time for melting in between! Needless to say this week was spent building snowmen, having snowball fights and cuddling with my little one.

If you noticed, I wasn’t able to post much at all this week, that is largely due to the fact that I was engrossed in the world of Outlander. It sucked me in and wouldn’t let me go! I stayed up nearly every night this week reading it and loved every minute! What were you up to this week?

Currently Reading

Book Cover for "Scarlet" by Marissa Meyer

So far book two of the Lunar Chronicles is just as good if not better than the first. Quite a feat for a sequel! Hopefully it keeps up 😉

What are you reading this week?

My husband is on vacation this week 😀 So excited to get to spend some extra time with him. Also I’m back on track reading wise. Outlander pulled me away temporarily and I’m sure it will again later this month when I dive into book two, but for now I’m excited to read some great books and share them with you all!

  1. I always find it a bit weird how everyone in the US is mentioning the snow, while here in the Netherlands we had a mild winter with only two times snow that was melted in two days. We even have a pretty sunny and warm day here! Although I kinda miss the snow, it always looks so pretty and building a snowman is fun!
I haven’t picked up the Lunar serie,s but I really want to. Everyone seems to love it and I have heard great thigns about the series.
Enjoy your new books and have a great week!

    • Snow in my area is rare. Like once every few years type of thing but we’ve had quite a bit the last two winters.
The Lunar series is excellent. I highly recommend it 🙂 Haven’t been able to sit it down!
