Feature & Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee @ Parajunkee’s View and Alison @ Alison Can Read. Each week the two hosts post a question for Book Bloggers to answer, provide a link-up, and choose a participant to feature on their blogs. If you participate, the point is to follow others and in return gain followers.
Welcome to this week’s edition of Feature & Follow! I’m Lillian in case you didn’t know that already 😉 I started blogging a year ago and it has been a fun and crazy year! I read pretty much anything that is placed in front of me, I’m a bit of a cover snob, and I tend to gravitate to young adult fiction. Why young adult? Well, it’s usually a cleaner read than adult fiction, there’s plenty of action/suspense, and who can resist a romance about first love?!
My blog features whatever I happen to be in the mood to read. I’ve had some fun interviews with authors and characters and hope to do more in the very near future. Please join me in some bookish adventures. You can follow via Bloglovin or anyway you choose 😀
This week’s questions is: “How do you decide what books to read?” – Suggested by So Many Books, So Little Time.
I am very much a mood reader. However since I started blogging, I put my ARC books ahead of my own and I try to read those within a thirty day window. It doesn’t always happen though. AND I’m sorely behind right now!
How do you chose your next read?
…or follow any way you chose 😀
Remember this is a blog hop. Be sure to visit the other blogs and give them some love too!
It can definitely be a challenge to stay on top of ARCs. There are just so many good books out there!
Already following on Bloglovin & followed on Twitter. 🙂
I’m definitely a mood reader too; I just go with whatever I feel like at the time!
Have a great weekend 🙂

ARCs are awesome but it’s easy to get behind so I go by pub. date too. New follower via Bloglovin’. http://angreads.blogspot.com
Hahaha I love this. Like you, I’m pretty much a book cover snob and definitely judge them by their covers. I’m not proud of it but it happens. Gah. hehe I choose my next read from whatever I find snooping around on my Kindle recommendations. Also, hopping over to follow your blog. 🙂

I try to read all my ARCs within thirty days, too, and fit all my mood reading around them. New follower on Bloglovin’

That sounds like a good rule of thumb to me. I try to read my ARCs and author requests within a month as well. I don’t want to make people wait too long. I don’t want to get too stressed out though so I want to make sure i still have fun with my blog. 🙂

The main reason I haven’t gone the ARC route is that I’m not good with deadlines and my TBR pile is already enormous!
New Bloglovin’ follower! 🙂
