Happy Sunday everyone! This has been a week to stay indoors. We didn’t get the promised snow this week so little man was more than a little disappointed. I’ll admit that I was too. It was too cold to go out but not cold enough for snow, so instead we got rain….freezing rain ? It was no fun!
At school, little man has been reviewing his ABCs and counting to 10. It’s slow going. I’m not sure if he understands the directions at school or he’s too impatient to wait on them. He comes home with a blank worksheet with instructions to work on it because he did awful on the one at school. I sit down with him, read the instructions, he does it BY HIMSELF and gets them all correct. ? Lord help!!!
And we’re not going to discuss the fact that the blog was down for 4 days!!!! I was in panic mode when the servers went down, but my web host got us up and kept us updated via Facebook. I was really impressed with them even if I was losing my patience ?
What did you do this week?
Currently Reading
I’ve been wanting to read this book FOREVER and luckily I was able to get it from the library prior to the movie coming out next week. It hooked me from the beginning. Honestly I’m surprised I set it down long enough to write this post!!! It’s that good ☺️

This Week’s Book Fix
What are you reading this week?
Next week is going to be a relaxed week (I hope!). We went home for an impromptu trip for my grandfather’s 81st birthday and little man is out of school tomorrow for MLK, Jr. Day. Honestly I’m looking forward to getting the apartment back in order after such a crazy holiday! The tree is finally down and now I’m just trying to find room for all of little man’s new toys.
Reading wise, I have a few ARCs to read that are coming out next month and I CANNOT wait to share them with y’all. Just the covers and blurbs have me squealing! What are your plans this week?
My blog is still giving me issues so at the moment I am beyond frustrated. I am glad you are back up and running. That was awful having it down for 5 days. I can work on it a little now but it loses connection to the server often. I don’t want to switch companies but I commented on my ticket yesterday and still haven’t heard anything. I am keeping positive thoughts but they are running out.
We haven’t had any snow and the weather is just really weird. It’s warm then freezing I wish it would make up it’s mind and just pick one 🙂
I know how you feel, I got my sons room all done and now it will be my daughters room, it’s a disaster. I need to cut it down in half to find places for all her new stuff. She hates parting with things but the house just isn’t big enough for all her stuff. lol
Have a great week, Lillian! Happy Reading! ox

Freezing rain is no fun at all. I’m sorry you didn’t get the expected snow. I am sorry to hear about your bloghost problems, but am glad things have been resolved. I haven’t yet read The 5th Wave, but it’s one I would like to get to at some point. I am glad to hear you liked it so much. I hope you have a great week. It sounds like it will be. We’re still finding places for all of my daughter’s Christmas gifts. I wish I had a week off from work just so I could organize her stuff. 🙁
Ooh nice! Those are new to me reads, but I LOVED The 5th Wave! I read it in 2014 just before the second book came out and ooomg it is soooo good! And the second book really amps things up too! So excited for the final book this year! Hope you enjoy the rest of your read and your new ones!
Here’s my STS
Have a GREAT day!

That must’ve been annoying to be without your blog for so long, but I am glad to see your blogs are all up again. That’s too bad you didn’t got snow and got freezing rain instead. I am glad to hear you’re enjoying the 5th Wave, I haven’t read it, but I did hear they were going to make a movie out of it. I hope you’ll have a great week!

Sorry to hear about your troubles with the blog. But that is great service your host provided. The 5th Wave sounds good and I want to try to read it before watching the movie. I hope you get the snow you and your son wanted. It’s been raining here which is good for our drought. I hope you have a great week!
