Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful week. We did. Little man turned 5 on Wednesday and yesterday we had a small family party for him at my mom’s house. He was over the moon!
Reading wise it’s been a slow week. I only managed to read two books. Cold has me down ? Hoping to catch back up this week! What did you do this week?
Currently Reading
I’m newer to this series but I really do love it! It’s a lot of fun and easy, contemporary romance is my go-to read after reading an emotionally heavy book, like Dawn of Ash and Citizens of Logan Pond.

This Week’s Book Fix
What are you reading this week?
Tomorrow I turn 30 ? I’m really not sure how I feel about this. On one hand I’m still young, I feel young anyways. But on the other hand my hair is starting to turn gray ? Not a very flattering thing to find before I turn 30!! Reading wise this week is about catching up on a few ARCs that have been piling up. Other than that I plan to have a chill week. What are you up to this week?
Wait till you get to 40, then you’ll be depressed! There is lots of stuff in the house and garden that needs to be done but trying to motivate my dad to actually stop reading the paper and help me with things is proving impossible. I’m getting frustrated by the lack of progress! His favourite word is ‘later’…Nothing exciting planned for this week, just blogging and reading!
I hope you have a wonderful birthday and a great reading week! A little gray on one’s hair makes them look distinguished. 🙂

Oooh nice haul! Lots of new to me ones! Though I am anxious for King Slayer. Was most bummed by being turned down for an ARC. Wondering if Independent bookstore day is coming up soon. As last year that was where I got my ARC of the Witch Hunter! Hoping to maybe get lucky again this year! As soon as I find out what date it is!! LOL!
Glad to hear you son had a good birthday! Hope you have a good reading week! I already know mine will be crazy busy. If I can at least finish my current read I will be happy!
Here’s my STS
Have a GREAT day!

I’m 35 and it’s definitely weird. I feel like I should have it way more together than I sometimes feel! Happy birthday! And don’t worry about the grey – that’s what hair dye is for. I’ve been wanting to read Debbie Mason lately. I’ve seen her books everywhere and they look great. Have a great week!
