Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we are all eagerly anticipating.
This week I’m anxiously awaiting Reliquary by Sarah Fine. She is one of my favorite authors. So far I’ve read everything she’s written and have yet to dislike any of her books. This one holds a lot of promise 😀 And that cover is gorgeous!!!

Mattie Carver’s engagement party should have marked the start of her own personal fairy tale. But when her fiancé, Ben, is violently abducted the next morning, her desperate quest to find him rips her away from small-town life and reveals a shattering truth: magic is real—and Ben is hooked. It’s not the stuff of storybooks. It’s wildly addictive, capable of producing everything from hellish anguish to sensual ecstasy almost beyond human endurance.
Determined to find out who took Ben and why, Mattie immerses herself in a shadowy underworld and comes face-to-face with the darkly alluring Asa Ward, a rogue magic dealer, infamous hustler…and her missing fiancé’s estranged brother. Asa has the power to sense magic, and he realizes Mattie is a reliquary, someone with the rare ability to carry magic within her own body, undetected. Asa agrees to help find Ben on one condition: Mattie must use her uncommon talent to assist his smuggling operations. Now, from magic-laced Vegas casinos to the netherworld clubs of Bangkok, Mattie is on a rescue mission. With Asa by her side, she’ll face not only the supernatural forces arrayed against her but the all-too-human temptation that she fears she can’t resist.
What are you not-so-patiently waiting on this Wednesday?
Oh my goodness me what a COVER! And a awesome AWESOME blurb! Magic as a drug of sorts? It’s really original and I love it! Thanks for posting it! Here’s mine: http://editingeverything.com/blog/2016/05/04/wow-wrong-hand/
Sarah Fine is amazing! It’s my belief she could make the color black sound intriguing. If you’re new to her, I recommend reading her Guards of the Shadowlands series 😀
Woah, Sarah Fine, as in the author of The Impostor Queen? Or not?

Same one! I still need to read that one. I love all her books though. Original and unique 😀
This one looks awesome, and I really like the part about the author being a clinical psychologist, which should add extra insights to her stories. Thanks for sharing and enjoy.
Here’s mine: “SIRACUSA”

Oooh nice! I’m debating about this one myself! It sounds very intriguing, yet I feel some hesitancy. So I’ll likely wait for some reviews and then eventually add it to my stacks! LOL! Hope you enjoy it once you read it!
