Happy Sunday y’all!!! Hope you have had a great week. This has been a very busy week for me, though if I’m honest I can’t pinpoint why. The week started at a good pace, but by the end of the week I was behind on my posts and wound up not posting at all the last few days. It’s been crazy! I helped several days at the school during the Book Fair, which went fantastic. The school said this was their best year to date on fundraising. I can attest that little man brought home WAY too many books but I will encourage it if it gets him reading. They are all Star Wars and Lego books. Go figure!
The end of the week saw me down with a cold and my husband’s grandfather back in the hospital. No fun! I’ve spent the weekend drinking hot Jade Citrus Mint tea (yum, by the way!) with a dash of Mucinex. Crossing all fingers that I will feel better by mid week.
Oh and did you see them Vols yesterday?! 11 year losing streak broke! There was a little celebrating at our house last night 😀 #GBO #VFL

So I’m a little over half way through Ash & Bramble and had to set it aside. It’s good but I’m struggling. It’s a little slow and kind of long winded, oh and predictable! I’m hoping it picks up. I decided to read Michele Paige Holmes’s installment of the Power of the Matchmaker to break it up. It’s better at least 🙂

This Week’s Book Fix
What are you reading this week?
This week is going to be another busy week but I’m looking forward to it. Wednesday I’m heading to the reproductive endocrinologist (which is just a fancy way to say fertility specialist). Those of you that have followed the blog for any length of time know I’m honest and open with you guys which is how I want to be. I have PCOS, the fact that I got pregnant on my own last year with no drugs or doctors was a miracle, but it’s been over a year with no pregnancy and the doctor said it was time to look at meds again. I’m not thrilled about this, but we want more children. My son is begging for a sister so to the fertility doc I go. I would seriously appreciate y’all’s good thoughts and vibes this week 😀 In addition to that appointment I will be baking lots of treats for my son’s fall festival on Friday. Lots of good smelling food that we can’t eat….my husband isn’t thrilled about this 😉 What are your plans this week? Anything fun lined up?
I hope that all goes well with the doctor. You got some amazing books this year.

Good Luck at the doctors. I actually have to take my son to one for this thyroid. Need to call this week to set up an appointment. I have my fingers crossed for you!!!
I have had those weeks that I am busy but nothing to show for it. It’s kind of annoying. lol
Book Fairs are so dangerous! Your son got exactly what my son would have gotten. 🙂
Have a great week, Lillian! Hope you are feeling better! ox
