September ’17 My TBR List

Posted September 1, 2017 by Lillian in Features / 6 Comments

This meme is hosted by Michelle @ Because Reading. By the first Saturday of the month, I’ll pick three books from my massive TBR pile and then you will vote which one I read. Majority vote wins and I’ll post the winner on the second Saturday of the month. Then I will read the book and on the last Saturday of the month I’ll share what I thought about the book you picked for me to read. Fun right 😀 I’ve tweaked this meme just a little and will also share with you what I plan to read for the month. Voting is at the bottom.

Happy September (and Friday) y’all! How is it a new month already?! This year is going so fast. Last month I didn’t do so well with my TBR reads. I only read 4 out of the 11 on my list, so a few of these are repeats from August. I’ll list the new ones first 😉

Book Cover for "Forget Tomorrow" by Pintip DunnBook Cover for "Never Apart" by Romily BernardBook Cover for "The Strategist" by Gerrard CowanBook Cover for "The Goblins of Bellwater" by Molly RingleBook Cover for "Satellite" by Nick Lake

Forget TomorrowRemember Yesterday, and Seize Today by Pintip Dunn: I’m really excited to dive into this dystopian series. Each book is a standalone but tie together to tell an entire story. Love books like this! Planning to start these today!

Never Apart by Romily Bernard: The blurb hooked me! This particular book is about a girl who relives the same five days over and over again, watching her boyfriend be killed and not being able to stop it. Sounds like a haunting Groundhog’s Day so I’m in!

The Strategist by Gerrard Cowan: I LOVED the first book of this series, The Machinist. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever read and when the author emailed asking if I’d like to review this one, I jumped on it. And the timing couldn’t have been more perfect as my husband and I were just talking about the book. I made him read the first one 😉

The Goblins of Bellwater by Molly Ringle: “Inspired by the Goblin Market” that’s all I need to know!

Satellite by Nick Lake: First, the cover is gorgeous! Second that blurb ? And Third, I cannot wait to read this. I love scifi and this is an interesting twist. A boy raised on a space station going to Earth for the first time?! Yep I need to read this ASAP.

Books Unread from Last Month on this Month’s TBR:

So I’ve narrowed down three books that are currently sitting on my shelves that I’d like to read. I’ve listed them below with their blurbs. Poll is at the bottom.
