Mom-Top Ten

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because they are particularly fond of lists at The Broke and the Bookish. They’d love to share their lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

Happy Tuesday y’all! This week’s topic is “Top Ten Books On My Fall TBR List.” There are so many good books coming out this fall. I honestly don’t know if I can narrow it to only ten. As always, covers/titles link to Goodreads/Amazon(affiliate) and are in order by release date.

The Keeper of the Heart by Stacy Henrie (Sept. 26):  I have a soft spot for historical fiction and I love Henrie’s storytelling ability. She weaves beautiful stories filled with tragedy and romance and seamlessly interweaves them with history. This particular story is set during WWI and I can’t wait to get my hands on it.

The Last Namsara by Kristen Ciccarelli (Oct. 3): I love high fantasy and this book’s blurb sounds fantastic! Where there’s light, there must be dark….a balance of sorts. Plus dragons!!! And did y’all see that cover?! ?

That Inevitable Victorian Thing by E.K. Johnston (Oct. 3): As much as I love historical fiction, I like alt-history just as much! In this particular book, the British Empire didn’t fall and the crown princess is about to matched through some genetic matchmaking that will prove the most advantageous in keeping the throne and empire intact. I personally can’t wait!

Forest of a Thousand Lanterns by Julie C. Dao (Oct. 10): I feel like I’ve been talking about this book all year. And now it’s only a couple of weeks left of waiting 😀 If you’ve somehow missed all my talk about this one, it’s a fairy tale retelling of the Asian story about the Evil Queen.

The Glass Spare by Lauren DeStefano (Oct. 24): I featured this one not too long ago on a Wednesday. The blurb reminds me of King Midas, except the main character turns everything she touches to gemstones. Personally I’d want to be able to do this instead of gold too. Much prettier 😉

The Dark Intercept by Julia Keller (Oct. 31): This is a sci-fi dystopia….enough said 😀

Rosemarked by Livia Blackburne (Nov. 7): Another high fantasy and one that the blurb has me intrigued. A healer who can’t heal herself and an injured enemy soldier….I’m already shipping them!

The November Girl by Lydia Kang (Nov. 7): I featured this book on my Waiting on Wednesday last week. First I love the cover and then that blurb…..I’m so excited. It sounds like it is possibly a siren-mythology type book, but I could be way off base on that assumption. Another reader suggested it might be a lady of the lake type book. Either way, I’m excited to read it 😉

Renegades by Marissa Meyer (Nov. 7): SUPERHEROES!!!! And it’s Meyer 😀 I need this book like yesterday. I can’t wait to dive into this new series. There just isn’t enough superhero genre books. I need more and I love Meyer so I have high hopes.

Hardcore Twenty-Four by Janet Evanovich (Nov. 21): Every November for several years now I look forward to more Stephanie Plum and her crazy, albeit predictable, antics. I’m still holding out hope that she either chooses between Morelli and Ranger OR finds someone new and cuts both of them loose. But until then, I’ll enjoy more of both 😉
