Happy Sunday y’all! It is SO cold here this morning! So I know a few weeks ago I was complaining about wanting fall weather. Well this week I got it. I spent most of the week with the windows open, sitting on the porch, and just in general enjoying the weather. Then yesterday we dropped another 20 degrees. Y’all we’ve skipped Fall and went straight into Winter weather. *shivers*
Reading wise I didn’t read as much this week as the last few. I managed to read two books. Both were very different types of books and yet very appropriate for this time of year 😉

This Week’s Book Fix
What are you reading this week?
This week is Halloween and the end of October (how did that happen?!). Little man is planning to dress as a ninja and we are heading to our local mall to trick or treat. We’ll probably stop by a few houses in our neighborhood too. Also the local library is having a Harry Potter party so of course we’ll stop there 😉 Reading wise I picked up a few library books this week and I have a few ARCs to read, then it’s on to some holiday reads and Hallmark movies and sweet talking my husband into going ahead and decorating for Christmas….maybe….too soon?
Sounds like a busy week ahead of you! Hope you have fun on Halloween going trick or treating 🙂

It’s been really cold here too! One night when I was coming back it was literally water freezing temperatures, ugh. Such a sudden shock and change. But, it is almost November, so I guess it makes sense.
And October really did run by fast! But I did get some reading done 🙂 we still have a few days to call the last shots 😀
Have a great week 🙂

We are about twenty below our normal temps for this time of year. I like cooler weather but it needs to transition 😉 Hope you get a few more good reads in for October! Have a great week!
It’s been cool here, but today it is snowing. Snowing! It’s too early for snow. The new books look great and I hope that you enjoy them. Have a wonderful week and happy reading.

Oh my goodness! I couldn’t handle snow this early in the year 😬 It’s spitting snow here but it’s just above freezing so it shouldn’t amount to anything. Hope you stay warm and have a great week!
We have finally been the recipient of fall weather, too. Although on Friday it was quite blustery and even when I left at lunch to go out I was freezing and wished I had my jacket. I had the back door open all day yesterday and put on fluffy socks. Today is a little warmer. A Harry Potter party at the library sounds so fun!! Hope you have a great week!
Our weather skipped fall too! We dropped like a stone! (I love the cold so it doesn’t bother me but I know it is upsetting to everyone else!) Cuffed was good-way more emotional than I was expecting!

Oh my word! That’s horrible – how do the plants and animals cope? So far we’ve been very lucky – the temperature this week has been in the 60s which is amazingly mild for the time of year. I hope you have a good Halloween despite the cold.
I hope you enjoy Cuffed. I’m planning to read it. Been hearing great things about it. I can’t wat. Anyway, enjoy your new books and have a wonderful week. 😁❤️
I love K. Bromberg so I have no doubts that I’ll love Cuffed too 😉 Hope we both enjoy it when we get to it. Have a great week!
