Mom - Waiting on Wed

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event originally created and hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that we are all eagerly anticipating. Jill has been MIA since August of 2016. Despite this, the meme lives on….Hope you come back Jill! Until then I will be joining Tressa at Wishful Endings and her meme Can’t-Wait Wednesday.

Happy Wednesday y’all! This week I’m excitedly waiting on A Court of Frost and Starlight by . When I finished A Court of Wings and Ruin, I didn’t realize that Maas had announced there would be more books until I turned the page past “The End.” I was….AM….ecstatic! I love the world Maas has created in this series, and I just wasn’t ready to let it go. This novella (and I use that term lightly as it is listed at over 200 pages) is told from Rhys and Feyre’s POVs and bridges the time after ACOWAR and the next books in the series. I CANNOT WAIT!!!

Narrated by Feyre and Rhysand, this story bridges the events in A Court of Wings and Ruin and the upcoming spinoff novels.

Feyre, Rhys, and their close-knit circle of friends are still busy rebuilding the Night Court and the vastly-changed world beyond. But Winter Solstice is finally near, and with it, a hard-earned reprieve. Yet even the festive atmosphere can't keep the shadows of the past from looming. As Feyre navigates her first Winter Solstice as High Lady, she finds that those dearest to her have more wounds than she anticipated—scars that will have far-reaching impact on the future of their Court.
