Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together
Happy Tuesday y’all! This week’s topic is “Books By My Favorite Authors That I Still Haven’t Read.” I’m ashamed to say there are several books by my favorites that I haven’t gotten to read yet. Below is a list of my top ten, in no particular order. As always covers/titles link to Blog/Goodreads/Amazon(aff).
Books By My Favorite Authors on My TBR
Through Glass: The Cut by Rebecca Ethington: This is one of my favorite authors AND favorite series. I could seriously kick myself for not getting to this book sooner, especially after the epic cliffhanger that left us hanging for a few years….Moving this one to the top of my TBR!
More than Jamie Baker and Remember Jamie Baker by Kelly Oram: I read the first book in this series last October and fell in love with Jamie Baker. I adore all of Oram’s books, but this may be my favorite. I love superheroes and this is a fun twist on the genre.
King Hall, King Cave, and King Tomb by Scarlett Dawn: So I’ve read this series all backwards 😂 I love Dawn’s paranormal romance and I was first introduced to her through the Mark series which I LOVED. When I was asked to review Chosen Thief, I jumped at the chance. What I didn’t realize is that it is a continuation of the Forever Evermore series which starts with The King Trilogy. Oh well….I’ve read all of Caro’s series so far (books 4-6 of Forever Evermore) and enjoyed them. At times I’m a little lost. I NEED to read this trilogy and soon 😉
Weapons of War by Tracey Ward: This is a bridge series that spans the time between the Quarantined and Survival series and follows two of my favorite characters from Survival. I’ve only read the first book and REALLY need to read this one. Ward is responsible for my zombie obsession. These series are fantastic!!!
Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas: I LOVE Maas! She creates worlds that you can get lost in and characters who are so real that you expect them to jump off the page and greet you. That being said, Chaol is not my favorite person and learning that this book is Chaol-centric had me put it off. However with Kingdom of Ash coming out in a month (SQUEEEE), I plan to read it.
Roseblood by A.G. Howard: Another author I LOVE! I first discovered Howard when I stumbled across Splintered in my local library. That book/series is amazing 😀 As is her Haunted Hearts legacy series. Somehow I purchased this one (because y’all it’s a Phantom of the Opera retelling!!!!!!) and it has set on my bookshelf since. HOW DID I FORGET ABOUT IT?!?! It’s going to the top of the TBR pile!
Renegades by Marissa Meyer: I love Meyer’s Lunar Chronicles. Couple her writing with one of my favorite scifi/fantasy tropes and I cannot believe that I’ve not read Renegades yet. I feel like I’m failing myself here!
The Midnight Star by Marie Lu: I devoured the first two books of The Young Elites series. I’ll admit I put this one off though. Adelina is SO dark and I’m sad to see her character continue to spiral. Even though I KNEW going into the series that was the plan, it’s still sad 🙁 I hope to get to this one soon though.
Half-Blood, Pure, Deity, Apollyon and Sentinel by Jennifer L. Armentrout: I love urban mythology! I also LOVE Armentrout. SO how did I miss this series?! I’m planning to binge this one as soon as I can.
Your Turn! What books by your favorite authors are still on your TBR shelves? Any surprises? Any on purpose? Share below
I still need to read Roseblood too – but RENEGADES. You HAVE TO READ IT. It’s so dang good. One of my favorite reads of this year 🙂
I still need to read Roseblood too! Though I think it might have been earlier this year or at the very least December of last year that I finally got caught up on Marie Lu’s books! I try to be as caught up as I possibly can when I meet an author at a signing and Marie paid us a visit one snow stormy day this year! Whelp! Though Wildcard still remains unread much to my dismay!
I still need to read Renegades too, I initially thought I’d binge it with its finale, but now it’s a trilogy and that totally throws off my game! At the rate I’m going I still might just binge it!
Loved Jennifer’s Covenant series! Though I am exceedingly behind in her Titan series…as in I need to read book 1!!!
Here’s my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower 🙂
I loved The Lunar Chronicles series (although I haven’t read WIRES AND NERVES yet), but I’ve yet to read anything by Meyer that’s not TLC. I have all of her other books on my shelf — just haven’t gotten to them yet. One of these days!
I hope you get to all of yours and that they’re AWESOME.
Happy TTT!
I just read Tower of Dawn last month and I really enjoyed it-I’m not the biggest fan of Chaol either, but this book made me see him in a new way.

I have a few of these on my TBR, but I can’t believe you haven’t finished Jamie Baker! Prepare for an up and down ride. That second book was…HARD. Great list!
I know! I feel like such a slacker having not finished this series yet. One of these days though….
