Amanda’s Weekly Update
Hey, girl, heeey! Don’t worry. I’m still here. I’ve been around. Why haven’t I written anything lately? WELL…….I haven’t had time to read anything that I felt like I could review easily. Ya know when you read a book or two, and you don’t review it right away? And then you forget everything you wanted to say? And then you have to do powerlifting and you can’t think about books right now? And then there’s the homeschooling, and the children-ing, and the wife-ing? Yeah…that’s what happened.
Mostly it’s powerlifting. I love it and it takes up a lot of brain space. But I have book goals, too, I promise. And I want to read and review 25 books this year, even though I’m not that good at it yet…I’m learning! And Lillian is the best to learn from! So don’t be surprised if you see that I’ve reviewed the same books she has, just years down the road. We have VERY similar tastes in books, and I trust her literary palate implicitly.
I’m looking forward to writing a bit for you all, but mostly I’m looking forward to all these books I’m going to get into. Hopefully you’ll be seeing my mug pop up a couple of times per month with some tasty treats for you to read.
Okay, BYEEEEE!
Lillian’s Weekly Update
Happy Sunday y’all! We have reached the half-way point of 2019. I can’t believe June is already over. Well….I can believe it. It was SO busy for us. Little man did three different camps, we went on vacation, and my little man was baptized at church. Did I mention it was busy in June 😅 Y’all it’s been a great month despite the busy. And the reading….y’all my mojo is back!!! I told you last month that I thought it was coming back. Well it is back in full force. At least for now. I managed to read 10 books and listen to 4 audiobooks this month….that’s 14 y’all!!! I haven’t read 14 books in a month in well over a year 🙌 My current mood:

Thanks, girl! I’m looking forward to July. Should be a fun one. 😊
June sounds hectic for you both. Mine was pretty dull…besides the neverending stress of my job and commute. Lol.
Nice new reads too! Lots of new to me ones, except for knowing about Clare’s books. Lol. Hope you both enjoy all of your new reads!

Yeah I told my husband next year summer camps and vacation will not be in the same month 😅 I’m one tired mama!
Happy Reading Jessica!
I love Cassandra Clare’s book covers!

I do too. They’re a good representation of the series ☺️ Have a good week Nicci!
I love her covers, too! TID has the best, in my humble opinion. 😉 It’s my favorite story line in the Shadowhunter universe so far.
Wow! June was really busy for you both. I’ve finished some great books too, it’s so satisfying , isn’t it. 😉
Hope you both have a great week and enjoy your reads.

You’ve both had a busy June and read/received some awesome books. I hope July rocks for you!
You too! Happy Reading ☺️
Honestly, that statement about reading and reviewing and not doing it STRAIGHT AWAY and then forgetting what you were going to say? STORY OF MY LIFE.
Right?! I try to make notes so if I don’t review immediately it’s ok but even that only gets done a quarter of the time 😅
It’s hard to stay on top of it! 😫 It’s why I have a review journal! Gotta keep that sh*t straight. 😂😂
