Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event originally created and hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that we are all eagerly anticipating. Jill has been MIA since August of 2016. Despite this, the meme lives on….Hope you come back Jill! Until then I will be joining Tressa at Wishful Endings and her meme Can’t-Wait Wednesday.
Happy Wednesday y’all! This week I’m eagerly waiting on Sarah Henning‘s The Princess Will Save You. When I first came across this book, I got all kinds of excited. If you are a fan of The Princess Bride, you will understand. Reading that blurb is like reading a new take of the classic. So I did something I’ve never done before and asked a question on Goodreads and got an answer 😁 While not a retelling, this story is inspired by the classic, and I couldn’t be more excited! It promises action, some romance, and a daring heroine. I cannot wait!

The Princess Will Save You is a YA fantasy adventure inspired by The Princess Bride, in which a princess must rescue her stable boy true love, from the acclaimed author of Sea Witch, Sarah Henning.
When a princess’s commoner true love is kidnapped to coerce her into a political marriage, she doesn’t give in—she goes to rescue him.
When her warrior father, King Sendoa, mysteriously dies, Princess Amarande of Ardenia is given what would hardly be considered a choice: Marry a stranger at sixteen or lose control of her family’s crown.
But Amarande was raised to be a warrior—not a sacrifice.
In an attempt to force her choice, a neighboring kingdom kidnaps her true love, stable boy Luca. With her kingdom on the brink of civil war and no one to trust, she’ll need all her skill to save him, her future, and her kingdom.

I want to read this one based on the title alone! It does sound good too, fortunately. I hope you enjoy this one when you read it! Have a good week and stay safe and well.
I’ve seen this one around some and I think it will be quite popular. Thanks for sharing it!
Nice! I’m excited for this one too! I loved Sea Witch…still need to read the second one! Though I’m torn between reading this one asap or waiting for the sequel to binge! Hope you enjoy this one once you get a hold of it!
