Happy Sunday y’all and happy Father’s Day to those celebrating here in the US. We spent yesterday with my side of the family at my grandparents house. I feel very fortunate to still have them in my life. We had a good time visiting with everyone. Today we are taking it easy and trying to stay indoors. It’s beautiful but HOT. This week we’ll be spending a day in Nashville with the cousins to swim which I know my not-so-little man is looking forward to. Reading wise, it was a good week. I managed to finish three books though I’m teetering on DNFing my book club pick this month. It’s just not doing it for me.

Have a good time swimming in Nashville. It will be in the mid 90s here all week, and we are far from a beach that is not Lake Michigan, smile.

I need to start the Sarah Henning series! You are so lucky to have your grandparents still. Hope you have a good week, and enjoy a day of swimming!

It’s good so far! I read about a third of book two last night and I think it might be better than book one so far. I feel very fortunate to still have them and so glad they are able to know my son and he them. Hope you have a great week!
I’m glad you got the family time. Stay cool in the pool – with sunscreen. I really enjoyed House of Dragons and the series so I’ll be interested to see what you think of it.

I’m excited to start it. I’ve heard great things about the author, and our tastes are similar so that just ups my excitement to know you enjoyed it 🙂
House of dragons looks interesting may have to check that one out. Have a great week.
I’m excited to start it! I’ve heard great things about the author. And Lisa from Lisa Loves Literature granted my wish for it this week 🙂
Yeah our heatwave came roaring in this week and it’s been positively miserable. I am looking forward to October when summer finally leaves us! Lol.
Nice new reads! Those are new to me ones but I hope you enjoy each and every one of them!
Here’s my StS
Have a GREAT day!

Same here! It’s been near a hundred and between that and the humidity I’m melting 😅 It’s going to be slightly cooler this week but not much. I’m ready for fall weather or a pool that I can cool off in. I’d take either 😂
So glad you have older relatives in your life – it makes such a difference to the younger members of the family, I think. Have a great week:).
It really does! I love that my son has gotten to know them and have them in his life for so long.
