Mom-Top Ten

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because they are particularly fond of lists at The Broke and the Bookish. They’d love to share their lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

This week’s topic is “Ten Books I’ve Added To My To-Be-Read List Lately.” I could be here all day adding books, so I decided to only add books I’ve purchased/preordered (not freebies or ARCs) which narrowed my top ten down considerably. Here are my latest acquisitions that are on my TBR pile, in no particular order:

Last Ten Books Added to My TBR Pile

The Diabolic by SJ Kincaid: I signed up for my first ever book box and this was included in the box. AND it’s annotated by the author so I am so excited to dive in!

Troll Cries by Ashley C. Harris: I love this author, not only is her writing fun and unique, she herself is as well. I’m looking forward to dive into this new series! The first book is available now and the second is up for preorder.

How I Met Your Brother by Janette Rallison: This is the November installment of Power of the Matchmaker. So far each book has been unique, with a sweet romance and common character of Miss Pearl. I’m excited to read who Miss Pearl’s meddling effects next.

The Trouble With Christmas by Debbie Mason: This is the first book in the popular Christmas, Colorado series. I’ve read the last two books and started her new series Harmony Harbor, but I’d like to go back and read all of this series, starting with book one.

A Miracle Mountain Christmas by Ciara Knight: Can you tell I’m getting in the Christmas spirit? I love Ciara Knight! This author can tell a wonderful, sweet story in under 100 pages. So when I’m looking for a quick read later this week, this will be it 😀

Crown of Cinders by Rebecca Ethington: I am dying to get my hands on this! It’s the final book in the Imdalind series and I’m equal parts excited and terrified to read it. Only 2 more weeks!

The Pursuit by Rebecca Belliston: I loved the first two books in this series and purchased this one right after it was released. I just haven’t had the chance to read it. I’m making time though and soon!

Arcana Rising by Kresley Cole: I preordered this one and need to read it ASAP!!! I’m dying to know what’s happening in this series.

Percy Jackson & the Olympians by Rick Riordan: I’ve been told over and over again I have to read these books, so I found a box set on clearance at Target (the box they were in was a little ruined but the books are in great shape!).

Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas: I’m dying to dive into this one! I love the series and finally got my copy….I see a read through in my future.

  1. Niiice! So curious about The Diabolic! Hearing good things on that one! And ooooohhh I LOOOOOOOOOVED Arcana Rising! I will warn you there’s a bit of a bombshell ending. Not as bad of a cliffhanger as the previous book but one that just makes this bombshell revelation of sorts and then that’s it! LOL! Tread carefully with that one!! 😉

    Here’s my Tuesday Post

  2. I hope you like The Diabolic, I tried it the other day and wasn’t connecting, I might try it again at some point. Think I just wasn’t in the mood for it at the time.
Empire of Storms is the last? or the second to last? I missed one of those and I want to read it but just haven’t had a chance.

I love all your books! Great picks!

    • Oh no! Did I put that Empire of Storms is the last?! I meant it is the latest book in the series. Oops ? I think it is the second to last like you mentioned.
