Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Happy Tuesday y’all! This week’s topic is “Frequently Used Words In [Insert Genre/Age Group] Titles.” Have you ever noticed words that seem to popular in titles at any given time? Here are the top ten words I’ve noticed used frequently in YA titles (specifically scifi/fantasy), in no particular order. As always, covers/titles* link to Blog/Goodreads/Amazon(aff).

I blogged about young adult books with the word “star” in their titles, too, this week. What a happy coincidence.

There are a ton with “star/starry” ☺️
OOh nice ones! This topic was a little overwhelming I think! So many words that my books all share and yet I was trying to just go for one word, but it was still so hard! Lol!

No wonder YA books, especially fantasies, are so hard to keep track of — all the titles sound the same! Time to change things up, methinks.
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
