Today I’m so excited to share with you Jennifer L Armentrout‘s upcoming book The Queen, the final book in her Summer King novella series that takes place in the same world as Wicked. Read on to find out more about the book, my dreamcast, and enter the giveaway.
The Summer King Dreamcast
The Summer King features two characters from the original trilogy: Brighton and the Prince. I personally really like both of these characters and had a hard time choosing who I thought would fit them. Seeing as how it is a dreamcast, and there are no rules with dreams 😉, here are my pics for our two main characters:
“…it was my face staring back at me in the mirror.
The Prince by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Blonde hair fell limply around my cheeks that were pink from scrubbing. [eyes] were wide-set and brown. Someone once called them doe eyes, and I think they might’ve been suggesting that my eyes gave them the impression of a deer in headlights. Right now, that would be accurate.”
“Golden blond hair brushed broad shoulders and framed high, sharp as a blade cheekbones and a jaw that could’ve been carved out of marble. His brow was several shades darker than his hair and his nose straight, aristocratic. Full, expressive lips were currently pressed together in a hard line. There was no glamour to fade away. This was what he looked like, an example of inhuman perfection designed to lure the prey in.”
The Prince by Jennifer L. Armentrout
It was announced earlier this year that Passionflix is making Wicked. I am SO excited to see them bring this book to life. Since they’ve already cast our favorite trio, I didn’t see a need to dreamcast them because honestly I can’t picture anyone else now!

Length: 460 pages
From #1 New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout comes The Summer King Bundle…
THE PRINCE
She’s everything he wants….
Cold. Heartless. Deadly. Whispers of his name alone bring fear to fae and mortals alike. The Prince. There is nothing in the mortal world more dangerous than him. Haunted by a past he couldn’t control, all Caden desires is revenge against those who’d wronged him, trapping him in never-ending nightmare. And there is one person he knows can help him.
She’s everything he can’t have…
Raised within the Order, Brighton Jussier knows just how dangerous the Prince is, reformed or not. She’d seen firsthand what atrocities he could be capable of. The last thing she wants to do is help him, but he leaves her little choice. Forced to work alongside him, she begins to see the man under the bitter ice. Yearning for him feels like the definition of insanity, but there’s no denying the heat in his touch and the wicked promise is his stare.
She’s everything he’ll take….
But there’s someone out there who wants to return the Prince to his former self. A walking, breathing nightmare that is hell bent on destroying the world and everyone close to him. The last thing either of them needs is a distraction, but with the attraction growing between them each now, the one thing he wants more than anything may be the one thing that will be his undoing.
She’s everything he’d die for….
THE KING
As Caden and Brighton's attraction grows despite the odds stacked against a happily ever after, they must work together to stop an Ancient fae from releasing the Queen, who wants nothing more than to see Caden become the evil Prince once feared by fae and mortals alike.

Love FB&A! I started a few years back with the Lux series and haven’t found one of JLA’s I haven’t liked yet. They are all bingeable ☺️

I’m so excited to read it!!
I am super excited for this book! The Wicked series started it all for me in terms of JLA books and I fell in love with Brighton and Caden (who I picture as Amanda Seyfried and Chris Pine).
Amanda would make a great Brighton. And personally Chris Pine could be anyone and I’d watch it 😉
I am so so excited, i love the wicked series and even more the summer king bundle. I am dying to read this new book!!!!
And i’ll love to see the wicked movie, can wait to finally see the movie
Oh man!!! I LOVE the Wicked series and spinoff books!! I read all of JLA’s books religiously and can’t wait for this copy to arrive on my doorstep!!!
I am excited for it. No, I have not read the other books, but if I win, they will definitely be added to the top of my TBR pile. I haven’t heard about the movie, but I hope that they do a justice for the books (so that the fans aren’t disappointed. *cough*cough* Percy Jackson *cough*).
I am so excited for The Queen! I love Brighton and Caden so much!
I couldn’t find which image I was supposed to pin on the rafflecopter though. Just hitting pin it didn’t work for me. <3
I read the queen today. I waited 1 year for this book and I was not disappointed. I still hope to have a sequel someday. I was left with some questions about what happened.
I haven’t started these yet.
