Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we are all eagerly anticipating.
This week I’m waiting on Frost Like Night by Sara Raasch. I’ll be the first to admit to you that I was disappointed in Ice Like Fire. It just didn’t live up to its predecessor and suffered from second-book syndrome. HOWEVER it set up the story nicely for the finale of this series. I CANNOT wait to see Meira as the true queen of Winter and Mather finally confess his feelings. I’m on the edge of my seat. Hopefully it will live up to my high expectations 😀
Frost Like Night by Sara RaaschSeries: Snow Like Ashes,
Published by Balzar + Bray on 2016-09-20
Length: 496 pages
Angra is alive, his Decay is spreading—and no one is safe.
Meira will do anything to save her world. With Angra trying to break through her mental defenses, she desperately needs to learn to control her own magic—so when the leader of a mysterious Order from Paisly offers to teach her, she jumps at the chance. But the true solution to stopping the Decay lies in a labyrinth deep beneath the Season Kingdoms. To defeat Angra, Meira will have to enter the labyrinth, destroy the very magic she’s learning to control—and make the biggest sacrifice of all.
Mather will do anything to save his queen. He needs to rally the Children of the Thaw, find Meira—and finally tell her how he really feels. But with a plan of attack that leaves no kingdom unscathed and a major betrayal within their ranks, winning the war—and protecting Meira—slips farther and farther out of reach.
Ceridwen will do anything to save her people. Angra had her brother killed, stole her kingdom, and made her a prisoner. But when she’s freed by an unexpected ally who reveals a shocking truth behind Summer’s slave trade, Ceridwen must take action to save her true love and her kingdom, even if it costs her what little she has left.
As Angra unleashes the Decay on the world, Meira, Mather, and Ceridwen must bring the kingdoms of Primoria together…or lose everything.
What are you not-so-patiently waiting on this Wednesday?
I have not read this author….but I hope you love this one. It does sound awesome. Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog.

The whole series has been good, though the last one felt more like a bridge book. Excited to see how the series will end 😀
I actually still have Ice Like Fire on my kindle waiting for me!! I have so many books on there waiting that it just keeps getting bumped down!! But I will read it real soon!!!!
You’re not missing much! I’d wait and read it with Frost Like Night. It will make for a much better read that way.
I’m so looking forward to this!! I was ordering the second book Ice like fire and it seemed like this one was out already too. I was so disappointed when it turned out to be a pre-order. I’m too impatient for series, I prefer to marathon them haha.
I do too when I can. I would recommend reading Ice Like Fire with this one simply because of the cliffhanger 😉
I’m stoked for this one as well! OMG the ending of book 2!!!! Yes please I need this in my life.

I know!!! That cliffy was awful 😀
I haven’t read this series yet, although I have both of the books, so when this comes out i will have to marathon them all! hope you love it, thanks for stopping by my WoW earlier 🙂

Oh I love binge reading a series and this is a good one to do that with. This way you’ll avoid the cliffhangers. 😀
Yes, I can’t wait for this one! The end of the last book was… torturous. Great pick!
Christina @ Books & Prejudice
That it was. I need to know what happens ASAP!
I have not started this series, but it is on my TBR. Sorry to hear about the second book in the series, that seems to happen quite a bit! Hopefully this will live up to your expectations:-)
I think it will. The second book’s plot dragged a bit but then the ending more than made up for its slow pace. Now I’m eager to get my hands on this one.
This is a new author for me but I am interested! Enjoy!
I really love this series! So ready for it to release. Great pick!

Eeee I LOVED Snow like Ashes. I haven’t gotten around to reading Ice Like Fire just yet but I’m hoping to get to it this summer once I get through some of the many books I’ve already bought but haven’t read.

I still need to start this series but I’m thinking of binge reading it after this one comes out. Great pick

I planned to read this series since the first book came out, and I still haven’t started it.
Well, the good thing about it is that I won’t have to wait about a year in between books.

This is true 😀 Plus you won’t have to deal with those awful cliffys either!
Woah, I didn’t realize that the third book in this series is set to release this year! I guess I better get my butt in gear and pick up the first book finally. It’s too bad the second book was a let down for you, but here’s hoping the author delivers in this finale!!
I think she will. The second book’s plot had a slow pace until the end and then I was like “That can’t be it!!” Flipping pages trying to find more. Lol. At least this way you won’t have to deal with that cliffhanger 😀
I didn’t really enjoy the first book in this series, so I haven’t continued it. I know most people LOVED it though, so I hope this one lives up to your expectations! 😀

I love that cover. I am not a big fantasy fan, but I should really give some of these series a chance. I do LOVE a good series.

I am hesitant to read the third book because I didn’t like the second one that much and it killed my OTP.
Thanks for stopping by!
It did mine too but I really am hopeful for the new guy 😉
That cover is gorgeous, and the book sounds amazing too! Hope you enjoy it, Lillian! :)) Thanks for stopping by my WoW :))
This has EPIC EPIC EPIC written all over it from the cover to the blurb! Great choice! I have to look up the rest of this series!

I really need this book too. I love Sara Raasch. Thanks for stopping by. Happy Reading!
I was also a little bit disappointed in Ice Like Fire. I’d hoped for more. But I cannot wait to read this, cause I think it will be amazing. 🙂 I hope we’ll both love it. Thanks for sharing, and for stopping by my WoW earlier. 🙂

I still haven’t read the first book in this series, but it’s on my TBR list (with a billion other books, lol). Hopefully I can get to it soon. I hope you enjoy this one when you read it! Thanks for visiting my blog!
This is a TERRIFIC pick!!! A HUGE WOW!!! I’ve been wanting to read this series since the first book came out, but haven’t gotten around to it. Well, maybe after this one is released, I can read them all back to back! I’ll add this one to my Goodreads shelves right away! Thanks for the heads up!! 🙂
Also, thanks for dropping by and commenting on my own WOW!! 🙂
I haven’t read any of this series but I’ve heard great things 🙂

So much YES to this choice! I have only read the first book in the series. I absolutely adored it and I am certain that all of the books are going to be just as incredible. I hope that you enjoy it! 🙂
