Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we are all eagerly anticipating.
This week I’m waiting on The Reformer by Jaima Fixsen, the last installment of the Power of the Matchmaker. I have enjoyed this series. Each book has offered a new couple for matchmaker Miss Pearl ranging from contemporary to historical fiction and so far I’ve loved them all. This one falls in the historical genre and I’m looking forward to it!
The Reformer by Jaima FixsenSeries: Power of the Matchmaker #12
Published by Self Publish on 2016-12-01
Length: 256 pages
Mary Buchanan has bigger worries than the radical journalist moving in next door who’s spoiling her father’s digestion: unrequited love for a footman, a fractious aunt, patiently awaiting her destiny…
Already she’s nearly eighteen. No sign of destiny yet, but Mary’s certain he’ll be handsome.
Then she meets the reformer, this Mr. Samuel Brown. Destiny is closer at hand than Mary has supposed—if she can just get Mr. Brown to realize it.
What are you not-so-patiently waiting on this Wednesday?
OOh nice pick! Totally new to me! Not really my kind of read but I do hope you thoroughly enjoy this one once you read it!
