The Christmas Songs Book Tag is hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl as a part of her feature A Bookish Little Christmas. Anyone can participate and join the link up on her page.
Christmas is my favorite time of the year. The whole month of December feels magical with the cooler weather, the decorations, and giving. And Christmas music is my favorite. I turn it on the day after Halloween and listen until the day after Christmas. When I saw Jana’s Christmas Songs Book Tag, I knew I had to participate. It’s just too much fun! I’m setting limits for myself by focusing on books I’ve read in 2019. Covers and titles link to Blog/Goodreads/Amazon(aff).
Christmas Songs Book Tag
“All I Want for Christmas Is You”: Favorite bookish couple.
Trinity and Zayne from Storm and Fury by Jennifer L. Armentrout
“I’ll Be Home for Christmas”: Name a book where a character is away from home (school, vacation, etc.).
The Noble Guardian by Michelle Griep takes place on the road. The MC is traveling to meet her betrothed and hires someone to take her safely.
“Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”: Name your favorite “little” book (children’s book, short story, novella, etc.).
The Trouble with Christmas by Robin Daniels is such a sweet, fun holiday read and my favorite novella from this year.
“Santa Claus is Coming to Town“: What book(s) do you hope Santa brings you this year?
I would love for Santa to bring me Marissa Meyer’s new series Renegades. I loved her Lunar Chronicles, and I love superhero stories. Have you read it? Is it as good as I hope?
“Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer”: Which book turned your nose red (made you cry)?
American Royals by Katharine McGee
“The Most Wonderful Time of the Year”: Your favorite book/kind of book to read during the holidays.
Christmas books duh 😂 My favorite so far this year is Snowfall on Cedar Trail by Annie Rains.
“We Three Kings”: Your favorite trilogy.
The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken….I finally made it a priority to read it this year and absolutely loved it.
“Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow”: A character you would love to be snowed in with.
Des from The Bargainer series by Laura Thalassa….I mean he’s the Night King, a fairy and technically belongs to someone else, but I can have him for one night right 😉
“Last Christmas”: A book that seriously let you down.
The Dysasters by P.C. & Kristin Cast….I was so excited for this one. I loved the concept, however the execution fell flat for me. I wound up DNFing around the 60% mark and skimmed to the end.
“White Christmas”: An upcoming release you’re dreaming about.
Aurora Burning by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff….I devoured Aurora Rising and have already read it twice since its release. I really cannot wait to continue the story.
