Is there room for two on this honeymoon for one?

Piper Wyatt's Christmas wish is to get promoted to manager at Blackstock Hotel and Resort. Not only does the promotion mean more money, but it means more time with her son and proof that she's not such a disappointment after all.

Jace Petersen, successful owner of a national chain of sporting goods stores, finds himself alone and miserable on what should have been his honeymoon. That is until he literally falls onto the lovely Piper Wyatt. He's intrigued with this woman who can fix a car in high heels. Too bad for him, he makes a horrible first impression, and Piper's not allowed to mingle with the guests.

While Piper tries her best to steer clear of Jace during his stay, she can't help but notice he's not the man from their first meeting. But is he worth risking her promotion? Jace hopes so, because he'd love nothing more than to kiss Piper atop the Falls on Christmas day to see if the legend is true. Will they both get their Christmas wishes?

Find out in this charming Christmas tale about finding love in the most unexpected place, a honeymoon.

Honeymoon for One by Jennifer Peel was originally part of a collaborative series with other authors, but was recently pulled and rereleased with new content and to stand on its own. Y’all I couldn’t be happier with it! This is a sweet, unconventional romance that brings the magic of the season to the forefront and will no doubt leave you with a big grin on your face. Honeymoon for One reads like your favorite Hallmark Christmas movie and is one I highly recommend.

Piper Wyatt is one of the hardest working people you’ll ever meet. As a single mother, everything she does is for her son. Her Christmas wish is to finally get that promotion at the hotel she works for. To her all the long hours and time away from her son would finally be worth it. She could prove to herself that she isn’t a failure. Her failed marriage left her feeling insecure. Piper doubts her judgment, especially in men. So when one of the hotel guests pursues her and makes her feel again, Piper begins questioning everything she thought she knew.

Jace Petersen is rich. There’s no other way to put that. He is used to getting his way and rarely hears the word no. So when his fiance jilts him, he decides to go on his honeymoon by himself. Miserable and alone, he makes a terrible first impression on Piper (y’all for real, it’s horrible!!!), but that doesn’t stop him from attempting to gain the woman’s favor.

I really enjoyed Honeymoon for One. I’ll be honest after that meet-cute (which is NOT cute in the slightest) I had concerns about this couple and their compatibility. I love their interactions and how with Piper’s job, their meetings are actually forbidden. I enjoyed how much Peel packs into this novella. I was impressed with how well all the characters were fleshed out. It made the story feel real. If you enjoy sweet romance, I highly recommend it.

About Jennifer Peel

Author Jennifer Peel

Jennifer Peel didn't grow up wanting to be an author, she was aiming for something more realistic like being the first female president. When that didn't work out, she started writing just before her fortieth birthday. Now after publishing several award-winning and bestselling novels she's addicted to typing and chocolate. When she's not glued to her laptop and a bag of Dove dark chocolates, she loves spending time with her family, making daily Target runs, reading, and pretending she can do Zumba.
