TTT #200 – Authors I’ve Read the Most

Posted July 7, 2020 by Lillian in Features / 12 Comments

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together

Happy Tuesday y’all! This week’s topic is “Authors I’ve Read the Most Books By.” I have a lot of favorite authors, a lot that I’ve read everything they’ve written, and some that I’ve only read certain series by. Below you’ll find the authors I’ve read the most in order by most read. Titles/Covers link to Blog/Goodreads/Amazon(aff).

Authors I’ve Read the Most

Janet Evanovich (29)

I’ve read almost the whole series pictured above. Y’all and I’m a little sad that the final book comes out this year. I mean I need to know who Stephanie is finally going to pick, but at the same time I’ve been reading this series since high school. If you like cozy mystery with a lot sass and some steamy romance, I highly recommend it.

Siobhan Davis (24)

I started reading this author back when I first started blogging. While she writes mainly contemporary now, her sci-fi is among my favorites.

If you enjoy paranormal or urban fantasy, like your characters snarky and sassy, this author is a must read for you! I fell in love with her writing reading sci-fi novella serial that is now in one book. I was hooked and haven’t looked back.

Debbie Mason (17)

I adore this author! She writes contemporary romance at its absolute best. I have devoured each of her series and already I’m in love with her new Highland Falls series. The books contain my favorite tropes (enemies to lovers, friends to lovers, second chances) and the setting is always a small town. I love small town romances because there is so much interaction between characters!

Laura Thalassa (17)

If Laura’s written it, I’ve read it. For real, there is nothing of hers I wouldn’t read and love. She creates amazing worlds that are easy to fall into, achingly sweet and often super steamy romances, and her characters live in that moral grey area. I highly recommend her.

Jennifer L. Armentrout (16)

I became a JLAnder when I spent a weekend a few years ago binge reading the Lux series. Y’all I fell in love then, and I’ve spent the last few years reading through her series (currently spending my time in the Wicked world). If you enjoy sassy characters, happily ever afters, and paranormal, you must read her.

Rebecca Ethington (16)

I sorely need to catch up on this author. I’ve read nearly everything she’s released, but I did fall behind some. If you enjoy paranormal romance, I highly recommend her. The Imdalind series is one of my all-time favorites with Through Glass just behind.

Sarah Fine (16)

Guards of the Shadowlands started it all for me. I devoured the series over a few days. When I’d finished, I immediately reread it, not once, but twice! It’s unlike anything I’ve ever read, and as a result, the author got a fan for life 😉

Charlaine Harris (15)

I read the series that spawned True Blood way before there was a series. Y’all I love this series! It’s so much better than the show IMO. I need to read more of this author’s other series. If you have, which do you recommend I start with?

Sarah J. Maas (12)

One of my all-time favorite authors. I’ve read all her books, I will read everything she writes in the future. I’m hooked and have no shame in that 😉

    • They are! Also complete opposites of my normal go to reads, but I love them. They are short and sweet. I usually finish them in one sitting. But they always leave me smiling ☺️

    • I stopped around fifteen or sixteen too then about four years ago I was missing the series and spent a few months reading all the way through. I’m honestly sad, a little excited, and altogether curious about who Stephanie will finally choose: Morelli or Ranger.

    • Thanks ☺️ I haven’t read anything by Evanovich except her Stephanie Plum series (and it’s spin off). Steamy, cozy mystery with lol moments. I started it in high school (I think it was up to book 8 when I started). At this point I’m determined to finish. 😉
