This Christmas, a hot fireman makes a holiday rescue and sparks fly in this sizzling holiday short story by bestselling author Alexandria Bellefleur.

When Everleigh Dangerfield’s baking disaster necessitates a call to 911, firefighter Griffin Brantley douses the flames in the kitchen, but the ones he stokes in Everleigh are an entirely different story. Unfortunately, Everleigh’s only visiting and doesn’t do casual hookups, no matter how smoldering the temptation. But Everleigh’s holiday mishaps have just begun. And Griffin is seemingly always on call. If Everleigh is game for a change of plans, he can give her the merriest Christmas of her life.

Alexandria Bellefleur’s Merriment and Mayhem is part of Under the Mistletoe, a collection of sexy December romances to warm the cold winter nights. They can be read or listened to in one swoony sitting.

Merriment and Mayhem by Alexandria Bellefleur is the first in the Under the Mistletoe collection which features five short stories from five romance authors sure to spice up your holiday reading. This was a fun read! Everleigh Dangerfield is celebrating the holidays one final time at her grandmother’s home after she passed and is trying to keep all her traditions alive. However, one mishap after another leads to her neighbors needing to call 911 and a handsome firefighter responding.

I really enjoyed this one! I haven’t read the author before, but now I’m excited to read some of her full length works. Fate seems to be messing with Everleigh. First an oven fire, then a broken ladder while hanging lights brings the sexy firefighter Griffin Brantley to the scene. Griffin makes no attempts to hide his attraction and tries to woo Everleigh on a date. But she has no intentions of staying in the small town past the holidays.

Overall, Merriment and Mayhem is a fun, spicy read filled with laugh out loud moments. I highly recommend it.

Each of the books in the Under the Mistletoe collection are available in Kindle Unlimited with audio narration. These spicy stories can be read in under two hours (less if you are listening) which makes them a perfect holiday read if you are short on time.
