Happy Sunday y’all! This week we wrapped up little man’s 8th grade year. It’s hard to believe that he will be starting high school in the fall. We still plan on homeschooling, as it seems to be how he learns best. While we are officially done, we are working on math a little still. We switched curriculums about 9 weeks into school, so we’re playing catch up. He should be all finished in another month. Reading wise, it was a good week. I finished 3 books this week, one of which was audio.

  1. Oh nice! Glad it was a good week for you and that your little man is doing better with the homeschooling. I know my sister debates it for her younger kids right now. One’s in preschool and the other will start kindergarten this fall. So it’s still a wait and see kind of thing for her right now. Plus she has them in the school where she works, so for now things are going okay for them.

Nice new reads! Been seeing a few of these around but some are new to me too! Liking that cover for Curse of Shadows and Thorns! I’ve been adding soooo many new to me books to my TBR lately. The spontaneous reader in me needs to chill but when it comes to the books being on the shortlist to going out of print or it’s for an upcoming author signing that I decided to attend, I found myself “needing” to buy these books. At least that’s what I told myself! Lol.

    Happy Reading this week!
