Happy Sunday y’all! I missed y’all last week. It’s been a busy few weeks. Football season is now in full swing. While little man doesn’t play, my husband is a former player which means we watch football all weekend long 😅 Honestly, I don’t mind. I enjoy watching and impressing him with all my new football knowledge 🤣 AND my VOLS are winning so everyone is happy in my house. Reading wise, it was a good week. I finished four books this week, one was audio exclusively and two I bounced between reading and listening.

This coming week looks to be busy as we prep for vacation. I cannot wait. This time next week we will be in the thick of Disney magic.

P.S. If y’all were looking at the blog this last week and couldn’t get the pages to load….that was my bad. There was an update that broke the site. I think it is fixed now 🤞

  1. I hope you really enjoy your vacation. Take care as COVID is surging in Florida. My brother who usually ignores that kind of thing mentioned it, plus the epidemiologist newsletters I follow. Hopefully you will get the cooler weather, we are.

  2. Oh nice! I’m dying to go back to Disney! I haven’t been since post-Covid. I was there in 2018 and had dallied with considering a 2020 trip but then things started happening and I tabled it. Then I wanted to wait for certain rides to be up and running and now with new things coming I keep thinking maybe after that’s been built and up and running! Lol. Hopefully I can go one more time at some point! I love that place!

I think I did notice the weirdness with your site last week and thought something must be up. Glad you got it working again!

Nice new reads! Excited for White’s new book! She’s still an author I’d love to meet one day. Always hope each new release might bring her closer to the Midwest, but no dice yet. Lol. Hope you enjoy all the fantastic new reads!

  3. Football season isn’t my favorite necessarily, and while I do love my Chiefs, I have a feeling we’re not in for a good year. I mean how long can we actually expect them to keep winning like they have been? Oh well. I did love the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare. I will be interested to see what you think of Climate of Chaos. I wanted to like that one so bad. Hope you’ve had a good week, sorry I”m late to comment. Oh and I’m jealous of your trip to Disney! I did the Disney cruise this summer, but I really want to go back to the parks. And Universal Studios for the HP stuff.
