Happy Sunday y’all! This week was a hard week. We announced to our patients last Sunday that we were closing our doors at the clinic. It was not a decision we came to lightly. We opened in 2020 just before the COVID shutdown. Fast forward to now, we’ve grown slowly, but the economy hasn’t been kind to us, and the growth hasn’t kept up with it. We started praying at the beginning of the year for guidance and answer of what to do. As this door closes, another opened. The hubby has accepted a position as a professor at his alma mater. We’re sad, excited, and hopeful for what’s to come.

I feel good about the decision. This will give us stability we haven’t had since 2019, insurance, a retirement, etc. I’m sad to say goodbye to our patients and the little community we created at the clinic, but still excited. So bittersweet is how I’m feeling. Reading wise this week, it was a good week. With everything weighing on my mind the last month or so, it’s been hard to focus on reading. This week I blew through four books (will finish my fifth later today), two were audio. The rest of this month and next will be a little crazy with the closing and transitioning to a new job, but a good crazy 😉
