Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we are all eagerly anticipating.
There are so many, MANY books coming out this winter that I just cannot wait for, but this one tops the pile.
This past January a friend of mine sent me a message telling me I had to read this book called The Arcana Chronicles by Kresley Cole. I checked it out, and thought it didn’t really look like something I would care for, but I was between books so I got the first one Poison Princess. Needless to say I was very wrong!!! I loved it and finished it in one sitting, staying up to the wee hours of the morning. Then after a cursed (yes I went there 😉 ) cliffhanger, I immediately picked up book two Endless Knight and read it the next day. Again a freaking cliffhanger and then the dreaded release date for book three….not until January 2015 😯
Well, January is almost here my friends and I’ve lived this year in suspense, unsure what would happen to my beloved characters.

Can Evie convince her rival loves to work together? Their survival depends on it in this third book of #1 New York Times bestselling author Kresley Cole’s Arcana Chronicles, a nonstop action tale of rescue, redemption, and a revenge most wicked.
Heartbreaking decisions
Evie was almost seduced by the life of comfort that Death offered her—until Jack was threatened by two of the most horrific Arcana, The Lovers. She will do anything to save him, even escape Death’s uncanny prison, full of beautiful objects, material comforts…and stolen glances from a former love.Uncertain victory
Despite leaving a part of her heart behind with Death, Evie sets out into a frozen and perilous post-apocalyptic wasteland to meet up with her allies and launch an attack on The Lovers and the vast army they command. Such formidable enemies require a battle plan, and the only way to kill them once and for all may mean Evie, Jack, and Death allying. Evie doesn’t know what will prove more impossible: surviving slavers, plague, Bagmen and other Arcana—or convincing Jack and Death to work together. Two heroes returned
There’s a thin line between love and hate, and Evie just doesn’t know where she stands with either Jack or Death. Will this unlikely trio be able to defeat The Lovers without killing one another first?

What books are you (not-so) patiently waiting on this Wednesday?
Wow, this series seems a far cry from her Immortals After Dark series. Might be tempted to see how she is at writing YA!
I haven’t read her IAD series but I think I need too. 🙂
You definitely need to!!
Haha, don’t you hate it when they cliffhanger you each and every time? lol, it drives me nuts, too, and makes waiting that much worse. Cool pick though, you made me want to check the series out!
Here’s My WoW.
It drives me crazy!! Especially when the wait is so long. Loved these books! Think of them as a cross between The Hunger Games and Supernatural 😉
