Top Ten Tuesday MemeTop Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because they are particularly fond of lists at The Broke and the Bookish. They’d love to share their lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

Happy Tuesday everyone! It’s that time of the week again…you know my favorite time when I get to make a list 😉 This week’s topic was too easy. In fact I had to narrow it down to ten which in itself made the topic hard. The topic is “Top Ten Books I’m Looking Forward To In 2015.” Without further ado, here’s my list. As always it is in no particular order and titles link to Goodreads 😀 Oh yeah and several of these are repeats from last week’s Top Ten.

Top Ten Books I’ve Gotta Have in 2015

Book cover for "A Court of Thorns and Roses" by Sarah J. Mass

Dawn of Ash by Rebecca Ethington – Technically there is no release date for this book, nor is there a cover, but I know in my gut it is coming 😉 And as it is the last book in the Imdalind series I’m anxiously awaiting it, ready to snatch it up the second it goes on sale!

Dead of Winter by Kresley Cole – Thank God this book comes out in one month because I don’t think I can wait much longer! This author I have dubbed queen of cliffhangers (at least for this particular series).

The Forsaken by Laura Thalassa – Another queen of cliffhangers. And again only another month of waiting before I know what happens to Gabrielle and Andre…The Unearthly series is perhaps one of my favorite series ever and no surprise my trusted friend recommended it 😉

End of Days by Susan Ee – Penryn & the End of Days was an Amazon recommendation that for once was spot on! I devoured both books in the series this time last year and have waited with bated breath as have most of you for a release date….May 15th hurry please!!!!

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Mass – It is time for me to step aboard the SJM train. I have not (please don’t shoot me) read her Throne of Glass series yet. In fact, I hadn’t heard of it until around the time of book three’s release in September. Now I feel like I’m missing out. And if I’m being 100% honest, I can’t wait to read them along with her new one.

Book Cover for "Red Queen" by Victoria Aveyard
Book Cover for "Marked" by Sarah Fine
Book Cover for "Beastkeeper" by Cat Hellisen

The Legend by Melissa Delport – The Legacy was a review I did earlier this year and it was one of the first that an outside publisher contacted me about so that alone made me excited. But then the first sentence…”World War Three began on the third day of September, the year 2016.” Ummm….hello friends I’m a dystopian fanatic and this book is a must read for those like me. So after finishing the book in a little less than two days and it’s sequel in one sitting (these are by no means short books either, sleep was nonexistent during this time), I now only have two months to wait for the conclusion. 😀

Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard – Pure cover love here. I adore this book’s cover and even better some bloggers with ARCs have started posting some really good reviews. Now I feel it is a must read.

Marked by Sarah Fine – This author must have read my mind. I mean Guards of the Shadowlands is over 😥 but have no fear. She has a new series which looks amazing that is being released on January 1st….and I already have a copy :::squeal::: 😀 Thank you Amazon Prime!!!

Hope’s Deceit by Angela McPherson – Another book I technically don’t know the release date for, but thanks to a little Facebook stalking (come on, you all know you do it too) I have on good authority that the author is currently working on it. I loved book one of The Fated series and so I really can’t wait to see where she takes the characters next!

Beastkeeper by Cat Hellisen – Another cover love, but the synopsis as I stated last week hooked me…”The day she falls in love for the first time, Sarah will transform into a beast.” Show of hands…who doesn’t want to read it after that?!

Your Turn!

Okay, I think it’s obvious I’m obsessed with end of the world, dystopian, fantasy books from this list! I read it through a couple of times and wanted to add other books just to show it’s not all I read, but who am I kidding?! These are my favorite kind of books 😉 What books do you HAVE to have in 2015?

    • Oh I love Guards of the Shadowlands! And for once I was happy with the way a series ended too. I thought she did a nice job with it.

I didn’t know either until I got my Kindle First deals email from Amazon and it was listed as one of my choices. Obviously I didn’t bother to even look at the others. I can’t wait to start it. It looks amazing 😀
