Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we are all eagerly anticipating.
This week I’m waiting on Replica by Lauren Oliver. This book is really going to be two books in one told from two different characters’ perspectives. I love the premise behind it! Plus I’m a sucker for dystopians 😉

Gemma has been in and out of hospitals since she was born. 'A sickly child', her lonely life to date has revolved around her home, school and one best friend, Alice. But when she discovers her father's connection to the top secret Haven research facility, currently hitting the headlines and under siege by religious fanatics, Gemma decides to leave the sanctuary she's always known to find the institute and determine what is going on there and why her father's name seems inextricably linked to it.
Amidst the frenzy outside the institute's walls, Lyra - or number 24 as she is known as at Haven - and a fellow experimental subject known only as 72, manage to escape. Encountering a world they never knew existed outside the walls of their secluded upbringing , they meet Gemma and, as they try to understand Haven's purpose together, they uncover some earth-shattering secrets that will change the lives of both girls forever...
What are you not-so-patiently waiting on this Wednesday?
I’m pretty excited for this one too. Did you see you can read the first 4 chapters, I think it was at Epic Reads? I read ’em last week and it piqued my interest for sure!

I’m also curious about this book. I noticed it is on Edelweiss and Netgalley, but I figured out if I’ll read it I want to do it from phisical copy bc of it’s formatting.

I agree with you! I definitely will want a physical copy of this book. It would be too hard to read otherwise, in my opinion.
I’m not a Lauren Oliver fan, but this looks interesting. I hope you love it!
