Happy Thursday y’all! I can’t believe that October has already come and gone. School is starting to gear up for the holidays. We are currently working on a Thanksgiving project (building a Pilgrim house out of Legos) while listening to the music for his Christmas Musical. Little man is so excited for the holidays as am I. I love this time of year!

I really enjoy the TIME for Kids’ books. They are informative and fun, filled with illustrations, real-life pictures and quirky facts. The Big Book of Why and Big Book of How are no exception. My son who will be 7 in February loves these two additions to the series AND can even read some of it on his own with little help from me.
Each book is divided into chapters, making it easy to explore specific subjects and questions. My son’s favorites are animals, space and humans. Questions like “Why do giraffes have long necks?” and “How did the dinosaurs die out?” are answered and explained so that children can understand easily. There are even some questions that I found myself asking like “How does WiFi work?” I can see us using these books for years to come.
Overall we love these books. If you are a teacher or have an inquisitive child, these books are satisfying and fun!
