Happy Sunday y’all! This week we received sad news that one of our fellow book bloggers passed away. Grace @ Rebel Mommy Book Blog was one of the first to welcome me to this community of readers. We read a lot of the same things and had a lot of the same thoughts on books. While I never had the opportunity to meet Grace in person, I feel like we could have been great friends. I will miss her. I pray God gives peace to her family, especially her babies, during this time and the days and months to come. My heart is broken for them (and us) at the loss of Grace.
In lieu of flowers, her family has asked that people donate in Grace’s memory to METAvivor, a nonprofit, volunteer-led organization that funds research to help improve the longevity and quality of life for those battling metastatic breast cancer. If you’d like to donate, you can do so by clicking here. The link will take you to the donate form on METAvivor’s site. Hug your loved ones tight friends.

It’s good so far! I’m hoping to finish it today ☺️
It was very sad hearing about Grace’s passing. I didn’t really know her too much but saw her pop up on bookish twitter. Very, very sad.
Those are some new to me reads of yours! I hope you will enjoy them all!

Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower 🙂
It’s heartbreaking. I’m so sad for her babies and husband. I can’t imagine what they must be going through.
Hope you have a good week Jess!
Dark King looks so good! I’ve never tried a CN Crawford before but I saw this one in a FB group this week and knew I’d be reading it soon. I hope you enjoy.
My heart breaks for Grace’s family. 36 is way too young. Cancer sucks (understatement).

I haven’t read Crawford either, and I also saw it recommended this week in a FB group. It looked too good to pass up.
I agree. Cancer sucks is an understatement. My heart hurts for her babies. 🙁

Though I didn’t really know her, I was sorry to hear of Grace’s passing.
The Curious Heart of Alisa Rae sounds good.
Wishing you a great reading week,

I was so sad to hear about Grace. She was way too young, and her poor husband and kids (and the rest of her family). I know the book community is definitely mourning her too, whether we met her in person or not.

I am definitely going to have to donate to that cause. Grace is going to be sorely missed and I’m sending you hugs. I hope her family is doing as okay as they can be in the face of tragedy. It’s so awful 🙁
Hope you are able to find comfort and enjoy what you are currently reading.
