Happy Sunday y’all! This was a long, busy week. Lots of sickness which means the clinic has been full. In addition to that craziness, I decided we should paint our spare bedroom….so guess what we’ve been doing this weekend 😅 I’m in love with it all ready. We picked a dark navy blue, almost black in a certain light, for the walls, and we are installing bookshelves along one wall. Also I finally have a desk again to do work at 🙌 I’ll share the finished product next week (forgot to take before pics). With all this going on, reading hasn’t been great. I managed to finish one book this week, and I’m hoping to finish my current reads tomorrow after I finish painting the trim.

  1. OOoh sounds nice! I’m still house shopping myself but I require at least one extra bedroom for my library room. Two extras would be nice because then I can have a Stephanie Garber room on top of it all! Lol. Really hoping for that scenario! Or at least a partially finished basement so I can set up a book room down there! Keeping my fingers crossed something pops up soon! I can’t wait to see your room for ideas! Lol.

Nice new reads! These are mostly new to me ones though I knew of Andrews’ book! I hope you enjoy each and every one of these!

    • 😂 I completely understand! We are turning this spare room into an office/home library. With the new shelves we are adding, it will bring our total number of bookshelves to 14 in the house. We all love reading and have a hard time letting books go after we’re finished. 😅

  2. Are you getting an early start on next year’s Read-along? I don’t know about paining a room that dark. I tried dark carpet once and it showed every bit of lint; medium is better for carpet. I look forward to seeing the photos. I can’t picture it in my head.

    • I am! I want to stay caught up next year. I fell behind this year and haven’t caught back up 😅

I am in love with the color! I finished painting it late last night and will start moving everything back in today.
