TTT #273 ~ Books with Jobs in the Title

Posted September 2, 2025 by Lillian in Features / 0 Comments

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together

Happy Tuesday y’all! This week’s topic is “Books With Occupations in the Title,” and I’ll admit I was stumped. I read mostly, almost exclusively, fantasy and sci-fi with the occasional contemporary romance thrown in. As a result, I don’t have many titles that have an occupation in them. So I’m stretching the limits here and including titles as in royal titles like king, duke, princess, queen, etc., and titles that describe the role of a character (or what they are called in the book) like shield, arrow, sword, etc. Otherwise, I think I’d have like four books on this week’s list 😅 Ok, I retract everything that I just typed as I was able to find more than I thought I would from my own bookshelves at home 😂 Below are my top ten books with jobs in the title in no particular order. As always, titles/covers link to blog review, Goodreads, or Amazon (affiliate).
