Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because they are particularly fond of lists at The Broke and the Bookish. They’d love to share their lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!
This week’s topic is “Ten Websites I Love That Aren’t About Books.” There really are not too many sites I follow that aren’t related to books so my list wasn’t that big to narrow down to start with. I follow several education blogs, a few information blogs, and some food blogs. Below are my top ten choices in no particular order.
10 Non-Book Blogs I Follow
Math Geek Mama is a site run by a good friend of mine and as the name suggests is about math 😀 She’s a former high school math teacher turned homeschool mom. She’s got some great math resources for all ages. Even my son likes the games she comes up with on her site. Go check it out and give her some love
Nosegraze, I know this one is a bit of a stretch adding it to my list as it used to be a book blogging site but this site has helped me so much as a newbie blogger. The site has switched from books to blogging/design tips for WordPress users. Nearly everything you see on my blog has come from this girl here! I use the Tweak Me v.1 Theme, the Ultimate Book Blogger and all its extensions. Honestly I’m not sure I would have survived as a blogger without her tips!
Tasty (via Buzzfeed) is one of my favorite recipe blogs. I love their videos. For one it makes me hungry ? but also inspires me. I mean those videos make cooking look so easy!
How Does She is one of my favorite blogs. It has a little bit of everything: crafts, kid activities, recipes, freebies, and discussion articles. I cannot get enough of their crafts and kid activities! There are some great ideas and a few fun things little man and I have tried.
SEC Country is my source for all things sport. I’m a southern girl at heart and I love my TN Vols whether it’s football, basketball, softball or baseball. So I keep tabs on the sports and news through this blog. It’s biased and you know what I’m okay with that 😉
Living Well Spending Less is a financial lifestyle blog. I want to be fully honest with you all. The last three years for my family has been extremely tight financially. My husband gets paid once a month (and month paychecks are SO hard to budget) and there are months when we might have a dollar in the checking account when his paycheck comes in. Sometimes less. It’s been hard, but this blog has some amazing tips and without some of them my sweet son wouldn’t have had a Christmas the last few years. Highly recommend her! AND it’s not all finance, there’s budget friendly recipes and crafts too.
The MOB Society (Moms of Boys) is a lifestyle blog for raising godly sons. I love this blog! I am first and foremost a Christian and this community of women has a wealth of knowledge they share on how to raise your sons in the Christian faith. It’s an invaluable resource for me as I raise my little man.
Ashleigh Slater is a Christian author and blogger. She has some practical advice for newly weds and those in a dry season of their marriage. Plus her kids are adorable 😉
Sally’s Baking Addiction is a newer blog for me. I stumbled across it a few weeks ago on Pinterest and I’m addicted (no pun intended) to her recipes. In fact I’m trying out her tips for freezing cookie dough later today 😀
Repeat Crafter Me is a favorite of mine. I love to crochet in my spare time and her patterns and ideas are wonderful. Plus she’s got some great crockpot recipes!
Sally’s Baking Addiction made my list too. I really enjoy her website even though I don’t consider myself an avid “foodie.” Still, I found my new favorite muffin recipe there, so yeah, I’m a fan. 🙂

Brilliant list 🙂 There a few websites on here that I haven’t explored before.
I love the Tasty site via Buzz Feed! Such great recipes and they look so yummy!! Great list 🙂
Sally’s Baking Addiction is amazing! Everything I’ve made of hers turns out amazing. I check the SEC Country site as well (War Eagle!) so it was fun to see it on your list. I haven’t visited Live Well, Spend Less much but I read her book last year and really enjoyed it. It was very inspirational. Great list!
