Happy Sunday everyone and Happy Father’s Day to the few men that read the blog! My sweet husband is working today and with our move later this week we plan to celebrate Father’s Day with our dads next week. So I’m kinda missing my dad and hubby today!

This has been a crazy, busy week. I’ve spent the week packing like a mad woman. We are officially eating off paper plates with plastic utensils. The only thing left to pack is our bathroom and master bedroom which is mainly just clothes since I’ve already packed all our books. My son is not too happy about the move anymore. He’s excited about being close to family, but he hates that most of his things are packed. Only 4 more days to the move ?

Reading wise, it’s taken me a whole week to read one book. Seriously at the end of the day, I’m exhausted from the packing and when I start to read, I fall asleep. This does not bode well for me…What have you read this week?

Currently Reading

I started Gypsy Love late last night after I finished This Savage Song which I’m still not sure how I feel about. I love Angela McPherson’s books so I have a feeling even though I’m only on chapter one that I will love this one too 😀

What are you reading this week?

This is going to be another busy week. We are moving in 4 days and well there’s still a lot to do. I will probably not be around much in the next couple of weeks, as I will be using a phone to check the blog and visit y’all. Reading wise, I’m just hoping to get a little in between packing, moving, unpacking….Gah!!! I wish it was already over!

Tell me your plans for this week. I need some uplifting 😀

  1. Packing is really tiring! I’ve never had to pack the whole house before, have just been moving from one room to another, but even that is tiring. Good luck with your move and hope that you’ll at least get to sneak in some reading in between 🙂

  2. Frankly, I think you’re a superhero for having taken the trouble to blog AT ALL this week! Don’t worry about us – we’ll all be here once you’ve settled in and got yourself sorted out:). Be kind to yourself and remember that moving house is the third most traumatic Life Event behind bereavement and divorce – and treat it accordingly! All the very best and take care.

  3. Eek! I hate moving. All the packing! I haven’t personally moved myself yet, but I’ve helped my sister when she moved out a few months ago. Then we had to move her entire classroom because she’s changing schools as well! So it was double moving! LOL! Yeah, already not looking forward to packing all my precious books. My mom already said, we’ll likely have to hire someone for me! LOL!

Hope you enjoy your new reads!

  4. I’m amazed you’re getting ANY reading done with packing and moving, good for you! Sorry your husband has to work today, but at least you guys can celebrate next weekend. Best of luck with your move and it will all be over soon, and you can relax in your new place. 🙂

  5. You have my complete sympathy with the move. After the last one I swore never again. It wasn’t even a bad move it’s just that they’re such a pain. Hopefully the time will go by quick and before you know it you’ll be unpacking at your new place. If you get any reading done in all that mess you deserve a medal! Have a great week!

  6. Just think… the move will be done soon and after the unpacking you’ll wonder what all of the fuss was about! 😉

Moving is not fun, but it sounds as if you’ve got everything under control!
