Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we are all eagerly anticipating.
This week I’m waiting on King of the Friend Zone by Sheralyn Pratt, the 9th installment of Power of the Matchmaker. I’m in love with this series! There is a new book out at the beginning of each month throughout 2016, each written by a unique author. I fell in love with Sheralyn Pratt’s writing style after reading Pimpernel so I’m really excited to read her installment. If you’re a lover of clean romance, I highly suggest you start the series!

All the girls swoon and sigh over Hunter Chase…until he opens his mouth. Then they scatter.
Why? Because Hunter is a jerk. He doesn’t deny it, nor does he hide it. Being perpetually single works for him and always has…up until the day his best friend gets engaged.
Hunter and Esme have been partners in crime since they were toddlers. Esme is their secret mastermind while Hunter has mastered the art of being the fall guy. He doesn't mind taking her falls. In fact, the bad-boy reputation he earned at Esme’s side has served him well. But now Esme has a fiancé who doesn’t believe best friends of the opposite sex are things that should be brought into a marriage, and it's destroying their friendship.
All his life, Hunter has known that Esme could and would do better than him in the man department, which is why he’s always kept his distance and never pushed the boundaries of the “friend zone.” But when a nosy cookie vendor starts putting ideas in Hunter's head, he has to ask himself: Is he right to believe that Esme deserves someone better…or is he just scared that once she finds out how he's always felt, she'll just walk away anyway?
With another man's ring on Esme's finger and a persuasive cookie vendor in Hunter's ear, Hunter decides it's time to ditch the friend zone. He's been the fall guy long enough, and it's time for the girl to do some falling.
What are you not-so-patiently waiting on this Wednesday?

Jessica @ a GREAT read recently posted…Mini Review–Morrighan by Mary E. Pearson
I really have enjoyed the series so far! It’s a contemporary which isn’t my typical read but they are short and sweet so perfect in my book ?
This is very new to me. I hadn’t heard of it. It sounds like something that I would read. Great pick.
