Happy Sunday y’all! I cannot believe we have already finished the first month of the new year. I’m still getting used to writing 2025 😅 January was a good month. I’ve fallen into a good reading routine and sticking to most of my goals for the new year. Last month, I read 11 books (almost 12, I finished it yesterday morning), 7 of those were audiobooks which seems to be my preferred reading method now. Looking forward to February as it is mine and little man’s birthday month as well as the blog’s birthday 🥳

Favorite January ’25 Read

I cannot chose my favorite. I loved and binged these together. Honestly, I kinda want to reread them now 😂

  1. I had a less than normal reading month with all the tv we’ve been watching after dinner. You have read a lot of books you enjoyed which is what counts. I find audiobooks let me keep moving, handling chores, etc so they are my top reading these days too.

  2. OOh very nice! Glad you had a good reading month! That’s incredible! I feel like I did pretty good too! I read 7 in the month of January, all regular books. One book was started at the end of 2024 but only 100 pages out of 500+! Then I was sick for those first 5 days of the year and didn’t get any reading done! So I feel like I did pretty well all things considered!

Nice new reads! I still need to get caught up with the Fourth Wing books. I read the first one but held off on the second as I knew it would have a cliffhanger since we had to wait 1+ year for the third book and now I think the wait is until somewhere in 2027? So I might give that a go later this year! I’m curious about The Rose Bargain, and I think that’s the rumored pick for FL’s YA choice this month! So that will be fun! I still need to read this one of Ciccarelli’s! I just got finished reading her backlist for an upcoming signing this month, but I wanted to wait to read this one until I had the second book in hand! Lol.

Hope you enjoy all of your new reads!
