Happy Sunday y’all and happy New Year! I can’t believe we are now in 2025. I feel like 2024 just started. December was a busy month. Unfortunately, I spent most of it sick. Thankfully all that is behind me now. We rang the new year in by celebrating a late Christmas with both sides of our family. We spend New Year’s day with mine and yesterday with my husband’s.

Reading wise, last month was good. I read 13 books, 7 of those were audiobooks, and 3 were short stories, but they all count, right 😉 I’m looking forward to diving into my reading this year. Hoping to hit 100 books 🤞

  1. Oh yay! Glad you’re feeling better. I just got hit with a whopper of a cold on New Year’s Eve. I felt that tickle in my throat and thought…oh fudge! Woke up feeling cruddy the next day and lasted all weekend long. I haven’t touched my book since 2024! It’s been dreadful. I’m hoping after 1 more good night’s sleep I’ll be mostly normal tomorrow.

Yay for the Caraval series! I adore this series and Spectacular was easily one of my most favorite reads this year even though it was a novella! I hope you enjoy all of your new reads!
