The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things you have received. Share news about what is coming up on your blog for the week ahead. See rules here: Sunday Post Meme

Happy Sunday y’all! This has been a good, albeit strained, week. I want to be transparent with y’all and so far I have so I will continue that today. Last week I told you I would be going in for labs and ultrasounds and shots for our fertility treatment. That all happened and then the awkwardness of fertility began. The shot and meds make me extremely hormonal, like cry for hours hormonal and not know why. It curbs my appetite while causing me to retain water and blow up like a blowfish. But that’s not the awkward part. The awkward part comes when the doctor tells you when to have sex and not like vague times either, like “have sex on Friday from 6-10pm” super-specific time frames. Talk about taking the romance and surprise out of the bedroom and making it like homework ? So yeah…that was my week…awkward!!!

Reading wise it was a d.ecent week. The HoHoHo Read-a-thon ended on Tuesday and I managed to read 5 books! I was pretty happy with that. I listened to two books this week and read one more so I’m pretty happy with my reading 😀

Currently Reading

I started Mosaic last night and so far it is fantastic! I’ve loved the series so far and I’m sad that this is the last one. I could read about this world for many more books if the author writes more

Merry Mondays

Merry Mondays starts next Monday on November 28th!! It’s a weekly meme hosted here on Mom with a Reading Problem during the month of December (and sometimes July) to celebrate Christmas and the holiday season. Each week a different topic centered around the holidays will be discussed. I hope you will join me this year and link up your holiday themed posts! The first topic is: Holiday Wish-List. To see a full list of this year’s topics, click here.

This Week’s Book Fix

What are you reading this week?

This week is Thanksgiving in the US and little man has the week off from school. I love that he will be home. He needs a break! He’s been in a foul mood, I’m hoping the week of sleeping in and rest will fix that! Plus the day after Thanksgiving means I can put up our Christmas tree 😀

What are your holiday plans? Do you decorate for Christmas? When do you start? Share below

  1. I remember trying to get pregnant with my first and we were having such a hard time. The doctor told me to have sex at least 2 or 3 times a week but not one after another. Like every other day. I was like ok…She never said times but it did work. Apparently every day isn’t a good thing when trying..Who Knew! 🙂

I am going to look into your Merry Mondays. I have a lot of posts that need to get done for December so I will see if I can fit it in. If not I will plan to join next year. 🙂

Have a great week, Lillian! I have my fingers crossed for you! Happy Reading! ox

  2. My heart goes out to you with trying to get pregnant again. And like you say – awkward… It’s such a hard term for the little ones – at least he gets a proper break with a whole week off and then it won’t be too long before Christmas, will it? I hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving time together.
