Happy Sunday y’all! This week was a lot of fun and busy 😉 On Monday I went shopping with my mom for Christmas decorations. I’m happy to say I found a tree and also a little embarrassed to admit that I came home with 12 bags of ornaments 😳I can’t wait to get our tree up, but I promised my husband I would wait….though I’ll probably get it up before Thanksgiving. I like having the house decorated when I have company over.
Reading wise it was a decent week. The #HoHoHoRAT ended Wednesday and I surpassed my goal and beat my record, reading/listening to 6 books over the seven days. In addition to that I’ve been binge watching Hallmark Christmas movies. I like them because I can watch them while my son is awake and not have to worry about covering his eyes or ears. So far my favorite movie is Engaging Father Christmas, I love the actors that are in it.

What are you reading this week?
This coming week both my son and husband will be home all week. I’m excited but it also means I won’t get any reading done 😉 I have big plans for us though. It will be too cool to enjoy outdoors so I’m hoping to go to the movies and see Justice League with my hubby and Coco with little man. We are having my family over for Thanksgiving dinner and then having supper with my husband’s family. And Friday means shopping with my mom. We rarely buy anything, but it’s fun to get out and look at the sales. When we get back is usually when we get our decorations out….that is if I can last that long 😀
Sounds like you’ve had an amazing week and a wonderful shopping adventure. I love adding new ornaments but my husband likes to keep a theme on our tree. We have a white tree and it’s been a snowman for the last couple of years. Super easy and it looks great we just need enough room for a 2nd tree so I can decorate it up. I’m so glad to find another Hallmark fan, they have been playing in my house all day for weeks and will continue for the next month at least. I need to start reading some holiday books. Have a great week and happy reading!!!!
I’m a sucker for the Hallmark movies, but I hate all the commercials. I’ve been recording and watching them that way 😉
your week coming up sounds like a lot of fun. Shopping with your mom especially. Enjoy your holiday with the family and the new book additions. Happy reading.
My Sunday Post
It will be fun and busy but I love this time of year 🙂
If my husband would let me I would start putting up decorations on Thanksgiving night but I know he wont let me until the next day. I’m so excited I could explode, I love the house decorated.
Enjoy the week with the family! I hope you have a great week, Lillian! Happy Reading! 🙂

It sounds like you’ll have loads of fun decorating your tree – I wait until I can borrow the grandchildren and then we all do it together:)). So much more fun with the children buzzing around!
I’ve been DVRing the Hallmark Christmas Movies. I can’t wait to binge watch them!
Have a good week!
What a great week! I have been watching Forensic Files instead of Hallmark. I hate waiting around for the commercials and then getting sucked into something else I’m working on my laptop and then tuning out. Happens every time. Then I look back up and I have no idea what’s going on. I hope you have a great Thanksgiving with your family!
