Happy Sunday y’all! This last week was beautiful. Almost everyday was warm and sunny. And by warm I mean the temperatures reached 80 degrees more than three days. It felt more like Summer than Spring, but it was gorgeous! I subbed for the fifth grade teacher at my son’s school the last three days this week. Needless to say I’m exhausted and have major respect for the teachers that are there everyday. I don’t know why, but those kids exhausted me. They’re great kids, very respectful and sweet. However I’m super introverted. Being forced to talk to people for 8 hours is mentally tiring. But I loved it all the same 😉
Reading wise I finally finished Sky Without Stars and it was fantastic. I promptly picked up a short read and finished it in a day and I’m now loving my current read which I’ll most likely finish today *fingers crossed* I have until Game of Thrones to finish anyways. Anyone else excited?! I’m equal parts excited and depressed. I know that so many of my favorite characters are probably not going to make it to the end….I guess we’ll find out soon.

Ash Princess looks so good! I’ve had it on my kindle for a while but haven’t made time to read it yet.
GoT is exciting! It’ll be tomorrow before I watch it here in the UK so I’ll be avoiding the internet until Tuesday after this, lol.
Ash Princess is really good. I read it in one sitting last year and decided I wanted to reread it before I read the sequel. Hope you enjoy it 😉
I can imagine teaching being exhausting. My sister is a teacher and even though I have an English degree I never wanted to venture into teaching. I guess all the “socializing” that’s a requirement for the job does scare me. I always preferred avoiding talking in class, hate hate hate it when the attention has to focus on me. So I loathed oral presentations. I always went somewhere in the middle, I wanted to get it over with, but didn’t have the guts to go first! Lol.
Super excited for Aurora Rising, yet for whatever reason I decided not to request a review copy of it! I guess I enjoyed reading the Illuminae Files in my hands so much that I wanted to do the same with this one even though it’s not going to be the same style. Lol.
Nice new reads too! Lots of new to me ones but they look rather exciting! I hope you enjoy them all!
Here’s my STS
Have a GREAT day!
