Happy Cinco de Mayo y’all! I can’t believe it’s already May. April flew by, and May will too. We are in the homestretch for school. Only three weeks left and really only two where work will be done. That last week is playtime 😉 My little man is going to be in the third grade next year. I don’t know why this is hitting me so hard. The last few years I’ve been fine with the transition. This year though I’m so sad and happy at the same time. It’s confusing. He’s growing so fast. He’s lost his baby fat and looks more like a big kid. Y’all I’m not ready for that!!!
Reading wise, April was a good month. Despite being busy, I read 5 books and listened to 4 audiobooks. Not too bad considering in March I only read 3 books 🙈 I think after over a year, I’m finally finding a groove again 🙌

Psst….I’m participating in Because Reading’s TBR meme this month. Take a sec and vote for which book I should read. Winner announced next week 😉
I’ve been seeing The Book Charmer everywhere! I must check it out!
The blurb sounds promising 😉
A lot of people are hauling The Book Charmer this week. I haven’t heard of it till today so I have to check it out
It sounds like it wasn’t too bad of a week and month 😀 Aurora Rising does look good!
I think we all got the same email from the publisher for The Book Charmer 😂 The blurb is interesting though. Hopefully it lives up to hype.
Aurora Rising is amazing. The Caffeinated Book Reviewer shared on her Facebook page that she was enjoying the audio which has a full cast. So I plan to listen to it when it releases this week 😂
Have a great week!
I remember Bacon Pie being a popular read some time ago, though I never got around to it. Enjoy!
Have a great reading week

I’m looking forward to reading it. I’m not a huge fan of contemporary but occasionally I get in the mood for it 😉
OOoh nice ones! I still need to read Ash Princess! Hopefully soon, so I can buy Lady Smoke! I’ve heard great things about it, but I’m making a new rule for myself that I am not to buy the rest of the books in a series (unless it’s already a committed author) until I’ve read the first book! After that there’s no holding back of course! Lol!!
Happy Reading!
Here’s my StS
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower 🙂
I love the first one! I reread it last month and while I waited for a copy of Lady Smoke from our library.
I agree with you about waiting til a series is complete though. I hate the wait in between books and I’m terrible at remembering details from previous books if it’s been a year or more 🤦🏼♀️
It’s funny how it seems like it takes forever for spring to get here and then it flies by and summer is upon us! Looks like you had a great reading month:)
