Happy Sunday y’all! I cannot believe how fast 2019 has flown by. In a few days, it will be 2020, a new decade. Looking back over the last decade, my life has changed drastically. My husband and I started the decade battling infertility. A year later we became parents. My husband graduated medical school, completed residency, and started his career. During that time, we moved a total of 4 times and bought our house. I started blogging, turning my reading hobby into a new passion. We lost some of our grandparents, which in truth has been hard, but in addition to my own little man, we added five nieces and a nephew to our ever growing family. I’m excited to see what this next decade brings….

December was busy, and that’s putting it lightly. With Thanksgiving being so late this year, I felt behind all month. The week before Christmas I still hadn’t done any shopping. But we pulled it off. We hosted my side of the family for dinner on Christmas Eve, and then spent Christmas Day with my husband’s family. Little man is at the age where he is starting to question Santa Claus, but still believes. It’s probably the last year for that, and I’ve somewhat accepted it. Reading wise, I managed to squeeze in 7 books, and I’m hoping to squeeze in one or two more before the New Year. I completed my Goodreads challenge before December started so I’m feeling pretty good. I need to look at my other challenges and see if any of those have been met. I’m honestly not sure they have….
