TTT #252 ~ 2024 Releases I Didn’t Get to Read…Yet

Posted February 4, 2025 by Lillian in Features / 5 Comments

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together

Happy Tuesday y’all! This week’s topic is “2024 Releases I Was Excited to Read but Still Haven’t Gotten To.” There were so many books released last year that I wanted to read, but just didn’t have the time to get to them. Here are the top ten 2024 releases I’m making a priority to read this year, in no particular. As always, covers/titles link to Blog, Goodreads, or Amazon (affiliate).

Heartless Hunter by Kristen Ciccarelli
Fate Breaker by Victoria Aveyard
What Monstrous Gods by Rosamund Hodge
Funny Story by Emily Henry
The Mirror of Beasts by Alexandra Bracken
Us in Ruins by Rachel Moore
A Sword in Slumber by Sara Raasch
The Heart of the World by Amie Kaufman
Serpent Sea by Maiya Ibrahim
The Thirteenth Child by Erin A. Craig

I’m kinda mad at myself for not reading these. I own all but one of them 🫣 I did start Heartless Hunter last night though, so I am planning to read all of these. Hopefully this year 🤞 Any I should prioritze?

  1. Oh wow! Parts of my TBR pile are glaring at me here too! I almost had The Thirteenth Child on my list but swapped it for another, still need to read it though! I wanted to wait to binge Ciccarelli’s series back to back as well as Bracken’s! Still need to read Hodge’s too! And start Kaufman’s latest! Hope you’re able to read these soon!!
