Happy Sunday y’all! It was a long week here with storms and crazy temperature changes. Thankfully we had no damage, just lost some sleep 😅 I’m participating in Lent this year, which I’ve never done. I decided to fast from Diet Cokes, which my husband will vouch for me that I’m addicted to, and my phone, so I may be a little absent from socials for a while. Reading wise it was a good week. I managed to finish three books this week, could maybe count my audiobook as the fourth as I will probably finish it this afternoon.

I do all my reading of ebooks and audio on my phone so I wouldn’t be giving it up! I have cut back on doom scrolling by a lot this year. I hope you enjoy Fate’s Edge. It seems to be everyone else’s favorite so far.

I didn’t give up my phone completely. I just blocked myself from the places I doom scroll 😂 So like all of my social media. If I want to check it, I have to dig out my computer so less doom scrolling that way. But yes, I totally get using your phone for reading and audiobooks. I do the same, though I don’t read on it as often as I use it for listening. I’m looking forward to starting Fate’s Edge. I love a good heist story 🙂
Oh nice! Good luck without the diet coke! I’m the same with my Diet Dr. Pepper, but I can’t give that up, so I went with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, my go to Chocolate Fix, so that’ll be rough! Lol. I still need to read this series of Gray’s! Loved her other YA books I’ve read!

I’ve actually read this one before, but never finished the series so I’m hoping to do that now. I don’t think I could give up Reese’s…they are my go-to as well. Now that the headaches are gone from not having my Diet Cokes, it isn’t too bad. 🙂
I’m listening to Fate’s Edge right now. I love listening to the narrator, but audio is still frustrating for me. Loving the book, though. My library only had an audio copy, otherwise I would’ve picked an ebook. Hope you have a wonderful week.

I got lucky and was able to get an ebook and audio copy. I’m trying to decide which I want to do now. I did not enjoy the narrator last book so I’m leaning towards reading it this week.
I have mostly weaned myself from daily Dr. Peppers with the Crystal Light mixes and water in my favorite BruMate cups. I read Throne of Glass so long ago and loved it, and I really need to read on in that series! Hope you have a good week and get what you need from giving things up for Lent.
