Happy Sunday y’all! It’s been a chilly week in TN, aptly named Dogwood Winter. I’m hoping we don’t have any more frost 🤞 I planted flowers last weekend, filling my beds with lots of different annuals for color: snapdragons, african daisies, gerber daisies, shasta daisies, pansies, and more. I love all the pretty colors. Reading wise, it was a slow week. I finished two books, one of which took me nearly two weeks 😖 I struggled getting into that one, but I did finish it. This week is Easter, and since we homeschool, it is our spring break too. I’m looking forward to relaxing a little and of course reading.

I’m sure the flowers are beautiful. I plant very few annuals and have tons of perennials because they come up every year. I do plant annuals in the two planters on the front porch but if I don’t water them faithfully they do poorly. Impatiens in the summer and pansies in the winter. We’ve also had more freezing nights in the past 2 years and that does them in sometimes too. We have no big plans as my daughter does not have a spring break until May. Happy Easter.

OOh nice! I love flowers too, but don’t really have much of a green thumb to keep them vibrant! Lol.
Nice new reads! Super excited for Erin’s new book! I’ve been trying to request less with Edelweiss and Netgalley so I didn’t put a request in for this one. Though I do want to read it because it sounds incredible! I hope you enjoy all of your new reads!
