Forever Christmas in July Spotlight

Posted July 26, 2021 by Lillian in Features / 0 Comments

Happy Monday y’all and the start of week two of our Christmas in July feature. Today I wanted to share with you all some of my favorite holiday reads from Forever. This publisher is one of my go-to’s when I’m in the mood for romance. Everything from sweet to steamy, contemporary to historical can be found with them.

Small-Town

The Christmas, Colorado series is one of my favorites. It started my journey down small-town romances, and I’ve now read everything by Debbie Mason since beginning this series. I did it backwards though, reading book 5 through the end of the series and then went back to the start. The Trouble with Christmas is a sweet, contemporary romance about the sheriff, a single dad and recent widower, and the Grinch who comes to tear the town down.

Best Friends to Lovers

Maybe This Christmas combines three of my favorite tropes: best friends to lovers, small town, and sports. I loved how the story and romance played out in this book. I fell head over heels for the couple and rooted for them from start to finish. Plus hockey 😀

Accidental Pregnancy

Typically I’m not a fan of this trope, but here it is done very well. All I Want for Christmas is You fits several tropes: best friend’s brother and small town, being two I enjoy. This book ripped my heart to shreds. I cried SO much, but it was perfect. I love the two main characters, their story has stuck with me even two years later. This is the last book of the series and can be read as a standalone. The two mains are side characters in the previous books so I was excited to read their story, and it did not disappoint.
